WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. The "Drafts" icon no longer shows the number of active drafts

    In the old version I was able to see how many drafts were currently in the Drafts folder.

    This is no longer possible for some reason

    Please fix.

  2. Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails

    Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. No matter how many times I go back to the top and try again it always…

  3. Infinite Scroll to Next Email

    Please get rid of the feature where I scroll to the bottom of the email and then it opens the next email.

  4. Excessive scroll bars

    I have three scroll bars on the right side of my screen when I'm replying to a message. That seems excessive. Also, the "send" button and the rest of the icons "attach" "emoji" "bold" etc. are cut in half until I scroll down with the outermost scroll bar. The only thing it adjusts is the white space just above the subject line. I'm on a 14" laptop, so it isn't like I'm on a tiny screen.

  5. The More options icon should be more easily accessible

    This option is currently shown after the list of folders. I keep my Folders expanded, so it took me a while to realize this, after scrolling to the end of my many folders. For example, move it into the section with Trash/Spam/Archive.

  6. show me my current account name on all mail pages

    I tried the "new" mail layout and found one feature positively missing. I have multiple yahoo email accounts. The new layout absolutely did not display the current account name that I am using. There is no security issue showing me something I had to type into your form just to login. Please ensure the current account name is prominently visible on all mail pages.

  8. Yahoo Email display window layout

    The Yahoo email display doesn't make good use of the display area. Files, folders, contacts and calendars etc... all need to be hidden but pop-out displays and allow the user to utilise the email lists and the window of the contents of the email usefully. ie. email lists + a window for a selected email's contents.

  9. Restore the ability to move folders that have sub-folders

    I organise my holidays in folders. Each holiday has sub folders for flights\hotels etc. Once the holiday is done I want to move the whole folder to "Past Trips". I used to be able to do this but no longer can.

    Here's what I have to do.
    Create a new folder in past trips with a dummy name.
    Move each subfolder in the current trip to the new dummy folder.
    Move any mails in the main current trip folder to the new dummy folder.
    Delete the original folder.
    Rename the dummy folder the the name of the trip.

  10. Fix message hovers on Firefox, esp "Delete" (Trashcan) Icon

    After deleting a message with the trash can hover, the next message pops up. On Chrome, the trash can icon appears as expected. But on Firefox, you have to move the mouse out of the pane (either hover over another message, or move right to the preview pane and then back over the message. This makes deleting many messages in a row painful. It's a simple implementation bug, but worth fixing as Firefox is still a very popular browser.

  11. can't scroll through folders anymore when dragging message to folder

    It used to be that, when dragging a message to a folder, if there were more folders than could be viewed, you could just drag the message "beyond the bottom" and the folders would scroll up... This no longer works (on new or old yahoomail). instead, I just get a red circle with a slash.

  12. Recent folder list in move button

    It would be great to have the list of the 5 most recent folders on top when you press the move button to move an email to a different folder. Every time you need to do it, you need to locate the folder again and again. Thanks!
