Make "Unread" a visible menu option, without having to click into a submenu. Ideally, allow customization of the default menu options that are visible.

The "Drafts" icon no longer shows the number of active drafts
In the old version I was able to see how many drafts were currently in the Drafts folder.
This is no longer possible for some reason
Please fix.

Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails
Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. No matter how many times I go back to the top and try again it always…

When I read or delete an email please return me where I left off in my inbox of emails
When I read or delete an email from my Inbox please return me to where I left off . Your making me remember the time or subject of the emails so I can return to where I left off. Not good time management. Making me work harder not smarter .. Thank you... .

Account switcher broken
The new account switcher (in the upper right) is seriously broken - it only shows 3 accounts after I click on "Add or switch accounts", when I have 4 active accounts. Worse, it doesn't show the most recently used account. For example, I recently switched from account A to account B. Now, when I select "Add or switch accounts", it shows me accounts B, C, and D. There's no way for me to get back to account A!!! Seriously broken. Also, why the extra click on "Add or switch accounts"? - This is an extra, unnecessary step. I switch accounts…

Move Spam and Trash above Folders. Now, Spam and Trash are virtually inaccessible if you keep your Folders expanded
I saw you currently have a hint about keeping all folders expanded and this is really important. However, this is unusable right now. When Folders are expanded, it becomes a nightmare to access the Spam folder and since your filters do not work (no matter what tricks you try to make them work), easily checking the Spam folder is a must. If you expand Folders though, access to the Spam folder (and Trash as well) becomes quite hard, especially when you have a lot of folders like me. Keep on current email, without jumping around; then have to scroll up or down to find where you were at!!!!
Please make it so one does not have to jump around after viewing an email, to have to navigate to go where you first were. I was able to change the option of deleting an email(it comes back to where you were first viewing), BUT if you just view an email and exit out--you are not where the original email was. Please STOP the 'jumping around movement' of where we are currently viewing. It definitely makes for a longer period of viewing email than I want to spend.

Tabs are hard to close now.
The new "tabs" are ****. You have to hover in just the right spot to get the X to close it, and then it sometimes disappears before you can click it and you have to try the hover move again.

Awful constant problems
Almost all the time the windows freeze or all the buttons are not visible and you constantly have to refresh in order for the send button to appear or to see the email options. The new yahoo mail is awful compared to the old version.

Always show the Mailboxes list
Please add the option to permanently show the list of Mailboxes expanded in the left side menu, like it was in Classic. The new Mailbox list only shows in a popup when you mouse over the current Mailbox's icon at bottom left. That is awkward and difficult to switch to each my 5 Mailboxes. Also the Mailbox's icon is not enough to identify it, need to also permanently show the full email address of the Mailbox by the icon.

Closing last remaining tab brings you to "inbox primary" but scrolled down to a couple days ago. Why?
Closing the last remaining tab brings me to "inbox primary" but scrolled down 2 days ago. Why? Ideally, it should go to the top. I'd also rather have a setting for my preference to default to "inbox - all" and not just "primary".

Having done a search and clicking on an email, return to the search tab when closing the tab
Tab 3 is a search. I click on an email and Tab 4 opens. Go back to Tab 3 and click on an email. Tab 5 opens. Close tab 5. It goes to an "Inbox - Primary". It should go back to the search tab, in this example it's Tab 3.

Provide a setting to default to "All" or "Primary" for your inbox
Typically, I want to see ALL my emails, not just what's "primary". Provide a setting so users can choose what they want their default to be. Or simply have it persist to continue using the one that was last selected.

back arrow should close tab
Clicking on the back arrow when finished reading an email should also close the tab above, but the tab remains open. Clicking on the back arrow should be the same as clicking on the "x" to close an email - which should close the tab.

Starred
I want "Starred" to appear on the left menu bar. Of the items there, I click on "trash" the least so I'd suggest you replace "trash" with "starred" and move it to the slot second from the top. Starred means you need to reference it, so it's important. Give it an important position in the menu bar.

automatically refresh and sends me back to the beginning.
when scrolling through messages the yahoo mail page suddenly seems to automatically refresh and sends me back to the beginning. This happens every 10 to 30 seconds making it difficult to go through the emails
