WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Calendar Default View

    SInce your last Yahoo mail software update, my Yahoo calendar defaults to a weekly view instead of my desired monthly view. I see no option to adjust the calendar default view back to monthly. Please fix.

  2. return to previous pastel color palette for calendar.

    I absolutely do not like the new color palette of the calendar. The colors are too dark which makes the events extremely difficult to read. I do not think it is user-friendly that there is no option at all to revert back to the previous pastel colors and that the user is unable to select from a palette to have colors of their choice. The pastel colors of the previous calendar version made it much easier to see the events. I reached out to the Help Chat line & was told it was not possible to return to the previous…

  3. You can improve yhoo mail by restoring the ability for users to see the dates they entered in the calendar.

    Dear Yahoo team, please, stop improving the calendar and restore the customer's ability to see the dates I've added that are important for me. Everything has become terrible, and I'm looking for other ways to add them to the calendar from different sources.

  4. Return option to allow changing of calendar colors in newly updated Yahoo mail version.

    As a result of the latest Yahoo Mail update, my calendar colors were changed for all 6 of my calendars. To make it worse, I have no option available to change them back to what they were. The color of my main calendar was changed to a dark green, which is much harder to read than my previous colors of black lettering on a white background. I request that the function from the previous calendar version that was available prior to the update be returned. I would think that this should not involve any major work since the coding was…

  5. Zoom - Meeting Invitations

    The old yahoo would give me the meeting along with the zoom invite in emails. This version is not giving me the date of the meeting to RSVP to with the zoom like like it should!

    I need to be able to change my settings on Time Zones from ETC/ GMT to EST. The drop-down menu does not give me the option to do this. Please fix this and let me know. Thank you.
