Calendar Default View
SInce your last Yahoo mail software update, my Yahoo calendar defaults to a weekly view instead of my desired monthly view. I see no option to adjust the calendar default view back to monthly. Please fix.

Let us opt out of planner
On the PLANNER- For God's sake at least let us be able to take stuff OFF of the planner. Your AI is getting all the stuff wrong. It's a headache and very stressful.

This new calendar is awful! The tags all show as little dots of the same color instead of the tags I use to color-code my family's activities. The tags are now useless.
I like to view the whole month at a time. With the last change, it always defaulted to the week view, which was annoying. Now it is back to the month view as default, but it does not show everything that is on each day without having to click a button to see the additional items. I need to be able to see all items on my month-view…

Calendar changes make calendar more difficult to use.
Suddenly, week and month displays are abbreviated into one line. I can't read an entry without clicking on it. The previous version of calendar with multi-line readable entries was so easy to use. The new version with ugly colors has just been such a mess.

Improved Calendar Event Editing
When I edit an existing Calendar Event - change the date - then click on another field such as the time - the square calendar box where I selected the new date does NOT close. This makes it difficult to select the SAVE button. Please improve this.

Provide access to the older version of Calendar
Yahoo calendar did not provide any information of transition to the current calendar. Therefore all my to-do-lists with needed information are gone and not accessible. Also the new calendar does not offer any of the organization tools the older version had like showing type of entry i.e. work, birthday, doctor, phone appt, color code, etc. Also I can no longer at-a-glance see what is "free" time "busy" or "tentative". The favorite sports team sync with the Yahoo! calendar does not pull over games onto the calendar anymore, and/or it is spotty and missing games.

Calendar - Edit Holidays
I like having Federal holidays on my calendar but lately I get state holidays from states I am not in or care about. I can't seem to get rid of them except to turn off all holidays.

Calendar: Show "TYPE" Colors
When the email changed it took away the colors from calendars. I found you can see them, but one must click on every event.
The purpose of the colors was so one could see at a glance the Urgency of an Event.
PLEASE RETURN THE COLORS to the Calendar.

Small calendar in left pane should advance by a year when using the arrows
In the previous version of Calendar, clicking on the arrows of the small calendar in the left pane would advance the view of that calendar by a year. Now, it only advances to the next month. The main calendar already does that. It was much more useful to have the little calendar advance by a year. Please return to that functionality.

Calendar Display Inconsistent
Calendar items are abbreviated now. Back and forth between abbreviated and full display. I so much prefer full display of calendar items. In fact, the whole reason to use Yahoo Calendar is the complete display of calendar items without clicking on something.

Calendar Scheduling
Whenever I click on the date, I want to schedule an event, the date is off by at least a day. Even when I amend the date and save the event is off by a day. So I have to end up dragging the event to the correct day. It's a BIG hassle to say the least. Please rectify this buy at your earliest convenience. Thanks in advance !!!

More fixes for Calendar!
I do not like the colored dots beside an event-I need the color bar, as it used to be shown. I also used the flag type to determine the status of my events-with no flags being shown, I cannot tell what is going on. Are these changes or is my calendar broken?

Fix the Calendar!!!
When I choose a day to add an event-it opens using the current day-not the day I chose. It also does this when I use the dropdown menu for adding an event or task. This is very frustrating & inconvenient; especially after years of choosing a day & have that day screen open.

Why do Calendar appointments default to "All Day" appointments now?
Please set it back the way it was before. You are creating more work for users.

Update "More on Yahoo" menu in Calendar to match the one in Mail
Please update the "More on Yahoo" menu in the new version of Calendar to include icons next to the text (News, Finance, Sports, etc.), so that it matches the "More on Yahoo" menu that can be found when viewing messages in the new Yahoo Mail.

calendar needs help
I don't know what happened but my calendar has changed is basically not at all useful. Anytime I'm invited from an outlook account now - for a teams meeting - there is no link for me to follow to join the meeting. The calendar defaults to a week view - and I have to change it to a month view every time. I like the old one better.
