WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. Coming Soon: Default to "ALL" Instead of "Priority"

    I will often let Offers and Newsletters pile up for a while, then go through them all in one go. But, annoyingly, if I open a message from, say, the Newsletters view, then move the message to a folder, I get put back into Priority view - argh! It should return to the most recent view I was using (Newsletters).

  3. Inbox Categories Options

    In playing with my email settings (and realizing I definitely prefer having the inbox categories disabled), I've realized that the option to presort/filter my mail with a quick button click is actually really handy. Here are some ideas for tweaking it to make it more user-specific.

    1. Please please please, let me set which filter I want as my default and/or allow the option to just go back to the last used filter. I hate that it keeps going back to the 'priority' filter.

    2. It would be nice to be able to select which filters I want being used. I don't…

  4. Microsoft Teams invites

    You had this feature before, but now I can no longer accept invites from Micorsoft Teams in my email. I have my email linked to my google calendar so the solution to add invites to my yahoo mail are useless. This would be one of the biggest reasons I may have to stop using yahoo if you guys can't fix this.

  5. Remove Yahoo Scout

    I received an email that said my son was dead because your AI is so flawed!! Imagine getting an email from your childs school and the giant headline is your childs name passing and describing how they trragically passed away! This is not acceptable. My wife was hysterical,This is not OK!!
    It was an email from the school about a student that passed away and it was regarding my son because he was in the same class and that is what Yahoo Scout created.

  6. I search for one topic and the tab in the bubble at the top repeated that search 20 times!!

    I love the multi tab option, as I often go back to previous emails, but when I search the "tabs" (really bubbles) for one search seem to multiply...20 copies of one!! This makes it hard to see other tabs. Please fix.

  7. Comcast.net assured me my email could be kept.

    To forward the email that is no longer comcast.net you are trying to charge a monthly fee. Won't work.
    Shove it where the sun don't shine. Changed all my accounts and no longer need it.
    I thought Comcast was greedy and disingenuous but Yahoo takes it to a new level. No wonder the platform failed in the 2016.
    I had no idea Yahoo was still around. Not just ads but Monthly fees too? Up yours.You too Verison and Comcast.
    I see now Comcast/xfinity is now giving 5 year prices to get customers that they lost by lying about pricing. LOL

  8. unsubscribe popup

    Give the option to disable the unsubscribe popup. As I click to view the email, the popup appears and a click the popup instead of the email. I then have to back out and click a different part of the email.

    Annoying and a waste of my time. Maybe make it a right mouse click instead?

  9. Include a gap to seperate the days of the week when looking at the emails.

    I like to see the emails for today then a line gap, then yesterdays etc.

  10. Priority

    When all mail tab is selected the Priority label on all the Priority mail covers part of the subject line in the list of mail, a smaller circle with just a P in in it I believe would be better to not interfere with reading the subject titles.

    Not real important but it does look sloppy.

  11. MOVE option not working

    I receive messages from EBAY concerning automatic searches I have set up with them Most of these correctly go to the OFFERS folder but some go to PRIORITY. I select the message in PRIORITY and clicked on MOVE, select MORE OPTIONS. change the pull-down menu to OFFERS and click the MOVE button. The message disappears from PRIORITY. When I click to OFFERS folder, that message from EBAY is not there. I checked the other folder and it is not in either of them. If I go back to the PRIORITY folder, the EBAY message is there.

  12. Feature Request: Follow-Up Reminders in Yahoo Mail

    Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

    I’d like to suggest a useful feature that could enhance Yahoo Mail's functionality: follow-up reminders for emails. Gmail has an option that automatically reminds users to follow up on emails they haven't received replies to, helping to ensure important conversations don’t get lost.

    A similar feature in Yahoo Mail would be incredibly beneficial for users who manage busy inboxes and need a prompt to revisit unanswered emails. Having a built-in follow-up reminder would improve email organization and efficiency.

    I’d love to hear your thoughts on this idea and whether Yahoo Mail might consider implementing something similar.…
