    The Classic Version was so much easier for me. I miss it. AND I DON'T LIKE THE NEW VERSION AT ALL. I think I'm going to go to Google mail. And I will unless you give me back the classic Version. Or give the the option to choose the old version within the new version. This is very Critical for me. I have been Diagnosed with Dementia. And the last thing I need is Yahoo to be harder for me to understand the new lay out . Please Go Back to Classic Version.

    Bring back the classic version! You took something that worked and for no known reason, made it more cumbersome, user unfriendly, and altogether worse than it was.

    I wanted to delete recent emails in my Sent folder, and couldn't see any "select all" box. So I clicked on the Sent X box, which brought up a load of emails that I had sent in the past (but then had put in folders to keep them). I made the mistake of hitting "delete" and had to retrieve all those emails from trash that I had previously saved. The classic version never did that.

    And why default to "Priority" and make someone hit "All" each time. Yahoo doesn't know what's priority to me; let me decide that and just show me all of my emails.

    I can't delete multiple emails and I have too much spam. I hate this new version and my email count keeps building. I really wish you would either fix it so I can mass delete emails or go back to the original version.

    Too many banner ads in mail can't delete them get rid of them or make them removable when deleting other messages. Want the old version back this one sucks. Because of the stupid large banners I accidently cleared out all of the information I had in my folders including many important copies of documents thanks to you\.

    Return to ‘Classic’ Yahoo Email—3-20-25

    MAKE “CLASSIC” Yahoo Email at least OPTIONAL again, FFS!

    Just in case you don’t read further, I’m launching (and funding!) a campaign to get yahoo users to contact Ebay, Home Depot, Lowes, Northern Tool, Harbor Freight, etc…, and tell them to STOP SENDING US PROMOTIONS, because we CAN’T FIND THEM in the “new” Yahoo—and/or because WE’RE LEAVING YAHOO! (I’ve had a Gmail account for 20 years, too, I just preferred Yahoo—but NOT ANY MORE!)

    You MUST return us the "To" and "From" search capability, re: looking for emails from a specific person. Because if I send my wife 100 emails a week, and she only sends me 4 a MONTH, hers are IMPORTANT, often financially-related emails, I NEED to be able to "break" those out using the “Search” company.

    RESTORE the “STAR” function to the left side—we READ LEFT TO RIGHT! And why make us “hunt” for it? I’ll ANSWER that—because you told your advertisers you found a way to keep us STARING AT THE SCREEN LONGER!

    STOP forcing it to default to “Priority” when viewing email. Are you TRYING to get us to miss important emails?

    DARKEN the “Yahoo Toolbar” icon—it’s too hard to see.

    REMOVE the STUPID, COLRED, two-lettered “Token” at the beginning of each subject heading. You’re simply mimicking Gmail, and it’s a STUPID DISTRACTION when Gmail does it as well!

    And just RETURN US TO CLASSIC, FFS! Otherwise, I'll start using my Gmail account FULL-TIME, and switch EVERYTHING to Gmail!

    Thank you for your excellent Post. What a Difference it is getting back to the Classic Email. I have gone through **** and Back with Yahoo's New Version that was terrible to now be able to get back to the Classic Version is outstanding. I hope they never do this again. They do not call it the Classic Version on the switch back, but it looks exactly like the old Classic Version.

    Why fix what's not broken? These newer versions are absolutely HORRIBLE. Bring back the old classic version and leave both as an option and do not force this new version on us.

    I have an update to what I originally posted on March 17th regarding this new Yahoo mail version:

    Before I was able to toggle back and forth to periodically check if the newer version of the mail was better than the old version but now I'm stuck on this new mail version and CAN NO LONGER change back to the preferred old mail version. I DO NOT LIKE this new version and have been trying to trouble shoot for hours trying to go back to the old version that has been working so well for years.
    PLEASE, PLEASE, let us have the option of choosing to go back to the previous version. This new version is so HORRIBLE and definitely is NOT visually appealing or easy on the eyes.

    UPDATE on March 20th: I've been stuck on this new Yahoo mail since last weekend. Just now, I was finally able to revert to the classic Yahoo Mail version I SO MUCH PREFER. Below are the steps I followed to revert back. I hope this works for those of you who like I, love the original version and NOT this new mail version.
    1. First, go to the new Yahoo mail and refresh the page
    2. On the bottom left column, click on the 3 little dots > ...
    3. Click/Select SETTINGS
    4. You should then see on the bottom left column the choice to click on to revert to the classic/original Yahoo mail.

    The new version is just a pile of garbage. It sucks and it can't be customized. Hard to read emails. too much spacing. It is just awful. awful. awful. GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION FFS

    EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! I cannot tell visually which messages have been read or not! The gray color is NOT helpful at all! Not enough messages appear on the screen to make deleting easier / faster!

    I wanted to add I've had Yahoo since first started and I'm so frustrated with this new version, I'm ready to give up. Please return my acct to classic version.
