The new visual design has taken a step backward for me. I had a theme that was between light and dark mode, neither of which I like. Light mode is too light, everything white, which makes nothing distinguishable. Dark mode is similar except that it make everything shocking to to my eyes. My old theme was purple around the outside of the message pane which made a differentiation in what I was looking at which is important to me. The other thing that's important to me is switching between accounts. I have 6 email addresses that I switch between for different reasons. I used to be able to see them all at once and know if there were new messages. Now, I have to go to the bottom of the screen and click on each on individually to see if there are new messages. Kills my flow. I also appreciated the old tab icon in the browser at it was distinguishable. This new one is not. I appreciate the read color change to a message, but it's too dark. Not as readable. Even the starring of the message gets a bit lost in it's new position because the grey is so dark.
