Sort function
Bring back sorting the inbox (and every other folder) by sender or subject line. Enable searching within a specific folder instead of the entire account. In other words, when I am in folder 'family' and I conduct a search I don't want results from 'inbox' and 'work.' The updates have degraded my ability to sort and clean out my inbox from the previous experience/user interface.

Hi Vic, we still have both these sorting options in the new version! Looking at your Inbox, your sorting options is on the top, right hand side. In order to see "sort by sender" you will need to disable "Conversation view" in your Settings. You cannot search by sender when in Conversation view. Once you disable it, you will see that sorting option.
As for sort by subject, you can also do this by looking at your Inbox and hovering over an email. When hovering, icons will appear to the right, one is three dots. "Sort by subject line" is one of the options. Hope this helps!
