An error occurred while saving the comment Kay Sharrah commented
I've gotten to a point where if a Yahoo story does not include a comments section, I don't bother to read the story. Instead, I try to find the story on another site that DOES allow comments.
Put another way, this is the internet. If you want people to read your stories, you HAVE to allow commenting. You might not like some of the comments, but reader interaction is crucial to keep readers coming back.

I posted a comment similar to this at least a year ago, but it obviously fell on deaf ears, but I'm trying again.
This is the internet; if you want people to read your stories, you have to allow commenting on *all* of them, even [gasp] if you don't agree with some of them. And even on that rare story where comments are allowed, your "community guidelines" are too strict. Let us speak!

Seems like it's been several months since you "temporarily" suspended comments. If anybody at Yahoo ever actually bothers to read their own feedback, please either come up with a new "improved" comments section or man-up and admit you've done away with it permanently. Thanks...

Agree. If Yahoo wants people to read its stories, it MUST allow commenting on ALL of them. I have gotten to the point where I check to see if there is a comments section on a particular story. If there isn't, I find the story on another site that DOES allow commenting.
I posted this once before, but Yahoo obviously does not read these because nothing has changed.
