Hello. While we cannot speak about specific comments, policy interpretations, or actions action in relation to specific comments outside of with their original poster, we seek to apply the Yahoo Community Guidelines as evenly, fairly, and objectively as possible.

Just this morning I had a comment published and then rejected (probably because someone didn't like the position I took).
You really need police for the police. This is happening over and over again and much destroys trust in the public dialog.
At a bare minimum publish (and stick to) clear rules of what is in or what is out. The use of the words matters in context but they stop comments because they contain certain words even when those words were in the article or someone else's comment.
Social media is going to find themselves under more scrutiny over the next couple of years and I look forward to lobbying my congressman to hold your comment rejections up to the light of day. I and my friends are keeping records. Your conduct in this space matters.

Both sides need to be heard. Conservative positions need to be heard as well. Advocating for reforms and rejecting progressive dogma should not be cause for censoring.
