  1. Get rid of the ads, and focus on real news, not fashion, sports, gossip. Yahoo is currently looking more similar to a tabloid rag.

    Yahoo is a middleman.
    if your home page is looking like a tabloid rag it's because of your selections for news sources that Yahoo provides to you

    You realize that Yahoo is just a middleman and provides you with the news from the sources that you have selected in your profile so if you don't like the news that you're getting don't blame Yahoo blame the sources or blame yourself for not picking the right news sources.
