Since yahoo articles are so very biased (oh - we weren't supposed to notice?) the counterpoint element of the comment section was a nice balance. Also a good way to take the temperature of the public opinion as well as study the intellect levels of folks that actually read news and care enough to respond. Restrain your writers
You have censored people who wish to make comments but continue to display articles by writers who are vile and disparaging toward ideas they are in disagreement with. If you have any sense of responsibility you would allow all ideas and equally close out writers who post comments that are equally abhorent.

Coming up on 5 and a half months. Is commenting going to be re-enabled on news articles about the country's events or is it gone for good?
I guess that people of different persuasions not being able to have dialogue with each other on here is a "safe" solution but I wouldn't call this a community....
