Trading - Multiple team trades
The ability to trade with multiple teams at one time.

Trading 4-5 players at a time is ridiculous. I’ve seen many attempts by a few teams to repeatedly try to push a 4 player trade. Most have been vetoed.
It’s not fair to the other members of the fantasy league. -

This would be so much more fun and creative. You can do this over private messenger and send the trades once agreed, but would be super slick to get it all done and watch as both parties accept.
"Oh ****, one guy accepted and the other didn't!"

Bump!! Been dreaming of this for years now. C'mon Yahoo!, make it happen. Also add check boxes in the drop list in "Players" area when comparing teams. Should be able to compare 2 or 3 teams in addition to your own.

The key isn't that 3 team trades can be worked around...the key would be that one manager could propose trades that involved 2 other teams to start the conversation.
I often have a hard time finding a team that has what I need and that has a need that I have depth at to make a decent trade work. Adding in a 3rd option would make it much easier to find teams with certain needs and depth to begin a proposal.

Of course their are work arounds but it would be nice to have it as part of the game an automated online.

there are workarounds for this; any trade involving more than two partners can be constructed with multiple two-way trades

This would be great

Allow teams to propose a trade that involve more than 2 teams. Smart mangers can use their creativity to trade for players using multiple scenarios. This will increase trade possibilities and create interest in supplementing a roster.
You can easily add this option by adding a option to the arrows or a page that is simual to the players to drop page.
This feature will forever change fantasy sports!

Would be cool if we could do three-way trading...like sometimes what happens in MLB trades.

I like the idea Kelly has. Sounds like a bit of an engineering project for yahoo but hey, what year is it anyway, cars are driving themselves so i think we prob have the capabilities to do three way fantasy baseball trades.
I think another way three way trades could be completed is if teams have to do the leg work on their own via email, in-game chatroom, text message, etc., to verbally agree on a trade. Once a verbal agreement is reached each manager involved will have to open their own multiteam trade request and detail each player's movement from original team to new team. The multi-team trade request from each manager must exactly match the requests of the other managers involved in order for the trade request to be made an official pending trade request at which point It is sent back to each of the managers involved to make sure there are no cold feet, they must make a final confirmation and then finally it gets sent for a vote to the league or commissioner or third party - however it is your league has chosen to evaluate trades - for finally approval or denial.
I'm no programmer but this seems like all yahoo would need to do is open up the ability for three or more teams to communicate at once through the trade function. We may not all have hoverboards, but *******, lets get some three way trades going for goodness sake because the future is now. -

This would be a challenge for the Yahoo Engineers, but possible. After proposing a trade, when a team owner clicks on "continue", this is where a screen redesign will need to take place. The team owner would select players from multiple teams that they are expressing an interest in trading for and an alert/email would be sent to owners that are being targeted for a multi-player trade deal. In order to consummate the trade, each affect team owner would have to be willing participants, whether for future draft selections or the proposal of a different player. The trading may take some time, in order to get all parties into some agreement, but this can be done. The issue will come up, is how will the multiplayer/team trade be evaluated for fairness and that each team owner involved is properly compensated.
