    Drag and Drop? please?

I need to add: what makes the current dropdown system hard is when there are multiple claims and the user wants to re-order the priority of one claim, the user then has to use the dropdown menu to edit every other claim. If the user doesn't correctly change the priority number of every other claim an error will be produced, and then again the user has go back and check and edit the priorities again. When it's only three claims it's not such big deal but when you're in a deep competitive league where you may not win your claim you must make contingency claims and those start to add up. 6 or 8 claims is not out of the ordinary and with the current dropdown menu it becomes very Flintstone-ian to have to manipulate each claim when the ability to use drag and drop is available.

Pitch type/sequence is only shown for the current batter, and for previous batters ONLY when an out was recorded. When a hit is recorded or a run is scored the type of pitch during the at bat is no longer displayed. Make room to display the pitch sequence, i.e. type of pitch, for every batter no matter the outcome of the at bat.

I have shared this same request with Yahoo! I initially submitted by request/feedback/complaint in 2016 and they have yet to move on it.
There's no reason why this can't and shouldn't be done for leagues that utilize only the P roster position.

Agree. Great point on ending season when you'd like and making a custom schedule. As you mentioned, since one week is such a **** shoot not only a two week championship would be great but my league would love to have a two week semifinal round as well.

I agree with this. It makes sense. I am also experiencing an issue in my league regarding pitcher position designation. It is a different issue but would be solved by Yahoo! retooling position designations for pitchers. Every pitcher in the pool of players should always have either a SP or RP designation or both if they qualify. Additionally every pitcher should always have a P designation for leagues that use that roster position.

Please add filters for SP and RP back to free agent search. I requested this three seasons ago. There is no reason why these should have been removed in the first place. Again, my league plays uses the P roster position for all pitchers instead of having SP and RP roster spots. The reason is that we want the ability to tailor our own mix of starters and relievers, rather than have it dictated that everyone needs to have 5 SP and 3 RP, or whatever the "traditional" way is. We still play with traditional SP and RP scoring categories but it's a more of a choose your own adventure style that we really like.

So the problem is by doing it this way Yahoo! has designated every pitcher as P, INSTEAD of just adding the P position designation to the role they are already qualified for, i.e. a starting pitcher in my league should be designated as SP and P. In traditional leagues Yahoo! already does this when a pitcher qualifies for a different role like when a reliever qualifies as a starter that pitcher gains the SP position in addition to their RP designation.
Long story short, by not having the SP or RP search filter it makes it a pain ********** to search quickly for pitchers.

There's no reason this can't be changed for.

Right, in the example of AL and NL-only leagues, it makes sense that the filters are limited because an entire segment of players has been already been excluded from the game.

My suggestion/feedback to Yahoo! is about getting them to address leagues using a roster position that blankets more than one position: like P for SP and RP; or corner infield (CI) for 1B and 3B, etc.
My league has dealt with the lack of a pitcher specific free agent search filter for 3 years now. We still have scoring categories for both starting pitchers and relievers, so being able to filter out starting pitchers or relief pitchers would make our free agent searches much easier.
Yahoo wouldn't need to make any change except to re-enable the filters that "standard" leagues already use. The additional filters will only improve the Yahoo platform, there isn't a downside and "standard" leaguers wouldn't notice a difference.

Yahoo continually adds league customization features every year, which I commend them on, but some of the little things are going unaddressed like search filters.

Why defend Yahoo? I was under the impression that this feedback forum was to give Yahoo FBB players the opportunity to help Yahoo improve their platform. At the end of the day most if not all of the feedback/suggestions posted on this forum will only improve the game play, provide more customization and make Yahoo fantasy leagues better. Getting Yahoo to listen is the challenge. So vote for good ideas and save the idle combativeness, sarcasm, and deconstructive criticism for something more important, like Twitter.

So.... All pitchers doesn't work when having a SP filter and RP filter would work better. It's pretty annoying, almost as annoying as trolls on message boards.

    To Anonymous 1:
In my league we use the P designation for all pitchers i.e. there are no SP or RP roster positions on our rosters, every pitcher spot on the roster is designated as P therefore a manager can fill those spots with starters &/or relievers as he chooses. In doing so Yahoo! has removed the SP and RP filter from the free agent search.
    Thanks

    Anonymous 2:
Uh...bruuuhh read the post more carefully...

Uhhhh let me break it down a little bit more clearly in case you also didn't read the above response to the first comment...
When the commissioner designates that the league will only use the P roster position for every active pitcher spot, Yahoo then removes the SP and RP search filter, leaving only the ALL PITCHER search filter. I WANT YAHOO TO GIVE US BACK THE SP AND RP filters in the free agent search. If you've never played in a league that uses on the P spot then you wouldn't know what I'm talking about
    uhhhh....Thanks I guess

How is he different from any other rookie coming up? Yahoo! gives other rookies their primary position designation based on where they played in the minors, right??

Mike Trout didn't have to start 5 games in the outfield before being eligible as OF
Kris Bryant didn't have to start 5 games at 3B before Yahoo! gave him that eligibility

Yahoo!, the logic is wrong on this and needs to be addressed.

Mejia has been a primarily a catcher in his professional career by a lot.

Here are some numbers for you:
    In 2017:
72 games started at catcher in the minors
1 game started at 3B in the minors (not including 10 in the AZ fall league)
3 games played at catcher in the Majors

    In 2018:
66 games in the minors started at catcher
24 games started in the outfield
16 games played, (not started), at DH in minors

In total over his professional career, since 2013, Mejia has:
Over 300 games STARTED at the catcher position
25 games started in the outfield
    11 game started at 3B
0 games started as a DH

Absolutely! During auction drafts specifically, when the draft is nearing the end and budgets don't allow for a lot of bidding action being able to reduce the amount of time to nominate players and then bid on players would be handy in moving the draft along.

Thanks, I was aware that I could find them on the team page. That's how I check innings for each team, but it requires that I visit each team's page, which is a drag.
I think yahoo! should make it available on the matchups pages too, allowing me to check two teams at once plus the matchups is what I check most often anyway to see side by side scores, so it just seems like a no brainer for Yahoo! to list the innings there too.
Yahoo! does list total innings in the matchups on their app so why not the web platform?

Agree with the tool to lock eliminated teams, don't agree with locking losers' bracket teams but that's just personal preference.
I do agree with the idea that the Commissioner should have a tool with the option to lock just eliminated teams or eliminated teams and all teams in the loser bracket.
The more options for league customization only will make the Yahoo experience better.
