Scoring - Allow retroactive scoring and roster changes
Requests to allow retroactive scoring and roster changes for fantasy baseball. Currently, there is no retroactive scoring and rosters cannot be edited for previous dates.

allow commish to change daily or weekly head-2-head team scores, similar to football, where we can add custom house rules such as adding bonuses for something that isn't on there, ie. Paul Skenes strikes out an all-star that week, etc.

Having draft within 10 days of first MLB should qualify for retroactive scoring updates.

No need to make it difficult let’s move forward.

These scoring adjustment/commissioner control options exist in fantasy football ... with improvements made annually to boot.
meanwhile us baseball commissioners wait patiently for yahoo to "gather feedback" for 20 years

With Yahoo's platform being limited in some ways, having this enacted will allow us to enforce "house rules" the platform doesn't currently support. For instance, we have a rule in our league every roster spot needs to be filled. On a Sunday in a H2H matchup last season, someone dropped their catcher in favor of a streaming pitcher and won the week. There was no way to fix it, which means the manager on the losing end permanently has this on his record while the cheating manager has a win forever. Seems like a major oversight, especially because Yahoo has the user ranking system that affects their tier/ranking based on wins and losses AND as mentioned by some others, this functionality exists in the football fantasy platform on Yahoo. Please change ASAP!

Crazy we don't have this for baseball but do for football. Also, minimum ABs would be a game changer similar to minimum IP!!!

When roster moves/waivers are set to "today," don't lock players who have started. Set so you could still make that move, but it would go into effect the next day.

During a season there are things that a commissioner is required to do in their fantasy league and with the current limitations as to what we are able to do it makes owners want to change sites. An example being I had a owner make an illegal add/drop according to our league rules and needed to reverse the points he acquired from this add/drop. With the current setup I as Commish am unable to do anything about this. I cannot subtract points or reverse add/drops. Now I understand this may be to stop cheating league managers in leagues but there should be way more permissions for home league leagues as this league is. There also needs to be a way to override locked players in the case a managers roster needs to be changed. In a weekly league we like to run mid week roster changes for anyone that gets injured and cannot do this on Yahoo. Most every other site allows league managers or commissioners to do these things. Like I said I know the objective is probably to eliminate cheating but there should be a way that gives more abilities to us who use this site for our home leagues.

It would be nice if Yahoo allowed the Commissioner to retroactively be able to make roster changes in the case of a rule violation. Is that possible?

Can we add the ability to change rosters in the past, or at least for current weeks, in weekly fantasy baseball leagues? I have managers that have made multiple mistakes in the past (and one right now), and it'd be helpful if I as commish could help them out! Also, it'd be nice to have the option to allow roster moves in real time, as compared to next day

This league(15th year in Yahoo) is H2H points. We also do a cap of 8 starting pitchers per week(which we control only thru honor system). My co-manager recently started a 9th pitcher and my opponent caught it after it was too late.
If you gave the commissioner the ability to add/subtract points, I could deduct whatever points are earned from the 9th pitcher.
or....
You could allow commissioners ability to remove pitchers/position players from lineup after the games have started. Thanks

At times it is necessary for the commissioner to change a teams line-up after the games have started. For example, if they make a mistake or didn't realize an early game has started. As long as the commissioner and other owners are OK with making this change in the league it should be allowed.

I didn't change Roster Transactions Dates to TODAY. Manager lost use of an Opening Day SP (RYU). How Can I adjust his team Roster for for a day that has already passed? or How can I award his team the Points from the SP?

Football is the only fantasy game on Yahoo that allows retroactive roster/scoring changes.

Fantasy Baseball should, JUST LIKE other sports, allow the retroactive ability to change line-ups. The semi-final championship game of my baseball league had myself with Mookie Betts on the bench because the night before he was rested and didn't start/play. One of 3 outfielders in the line-up did not play that day and I tried several times to make the switch that day before the game. It wasn't allowed. I contacted Yahoo several times but to no avail. Due to THAT line-up change, I lost that game. The RBI's alone accrued by Betts would have put my team to win and then by point totals alone the next week I would have won the championship game. Until this issue is fixed, I won't be playing fantasy baseball again.
