Hello, good people. This morning I planned to drop Royce Lewis, whom I cheer for loudly, for he is injured yet again. I was already thinking of doing so, for Jordan Westburg was available and seems to be hitting. However, when I tried to make the transition, I received a notification that I couldn't because "Kodai Senga was no longer on the IL." That was false information! Kodai Senga IS on the IL. He was listed as "NA" on the Yahoo Fantasy site, though he was on the IL in Yahoo Fantasy last night... I couldn't figure it out! I went online to MLB to verify that, yes, Senga IS on the IL. Shoot! I had a busy morning and had to scoot, but tried again as soon as I could. However, another manager in our very competitive league had already picked up Westburg, so I couldn't, and, yes, Senga was back on Yahoo Fantasy's IL, so I could make a move. What the heck??? I lost out on a transaction because of some odd glitch in Yahoo Fantasy. There is nothing that can be done now, I realize, but, doggone it, that shouldn't happen. I thought someone in that department of things should know. Thanks for listening!

Put Kodai Senga on the DL like he actually is so I can make roster moves

If Yahoo is to take an approach of splitting Shohei Ohtani into both a batter and pitcher, the Pitcher, I believe, should not be IL eligible. For every other player in Yahoo fantasy, we need to wait for the player in real life to be sent on IL before Yahoo makes it eligible for fantasy manager to place said player into IL position.
Shohei is not on the IL in real life and thus Yahoo has only placed "IL" next to the pitcher without any 15 or 60 designation. It seems very one sided approach to this as in most circumstances, Yahoo would put NA next to this player. It is an unfair advantage for the fantasy member that stashes a player like this and is allowed the freedom of not taking up a roster spot. If Shohei is in the IL in MLB then it should follow suit, but this is not the case. Hoping this is a similar sentiment for other fantasy players.

I think it’s ok the way you decided to use ohtani as two separate players, although espn using him as one player is a much better experience and actually reflective of his real life value. I think the decision to put the pitcher ohtani on the IL is out of bounds. The way you guys work with any other player is that the roster has to be submitted for a player to be listed on the IL. I don’t understand why you would make a subjective decision like this. The player is not on the IL. So you will activate him when he is making his first appearance? What if he goes another 2 weeks between appearances before pitching again, will you make another subjective decision? There is not another example of a player you would choose to put on the IL without them actually being on the IL. It leaves too much room for subjective decisions from yahoo. Roster decisions need to be based on the real world.

If a player is placed on the restricted list by his major league team such that the team replaces him on its actual roster, then such player should also be IL-eligible for Yahoo fantasy purposes such that the fantasy team should be able to pick up a FA player (provided an open IL slot is available). One example is Yandy Diaz for Tampa who had to leave the Rays for personal reasons without further explanation or a timeline after the All-Star break, but while the Rays got to replace him on their roster, I could not. Seems more than reasonable for Yahoo to allow what MLB does.

Cody Poteet should have an NA designation. He was brought up on Saturday to be the Yankees 27th man for their doubleheader against the Guardians, but was immediately sent back down to AAA after the game was over. Please give him his NA designation so that I can replace him on my fantasy baseball roster.

Should Lawlar be IL or NA? I believe it should still be NA since he is in minors. I'm sure he isn't getting MLB service time. Yahoo has him in IL.

This is correct. Jordan Lawlar should have NA status, not IL.

Jordan Lawlar is in the minors and was not on the Diamondbacks 26-man roster when he was placed on the 60-day IL. Allowing him to be IL-eligible creates problems, because it allows teams to stash him in an IL spot over an NA or bench spot.

Came here for this. Come on @Yahoo. The MLB team IL activity has been active for days now and the players aren't being updated to reflect the corresponding IL moves. As such we are left in the cold with in some cases a plethora of roster spots to fill. This is going to create an un-needed waiver wire feeding frenzy instead of the organic slow churn we would normally expect. Ya'll just playing with our money at this point. And as well all know that is like playing with our emotions!
Please escalate to SEV 1 critical bug status ASAP.

Come on!! I have two pitchers who were added to the IL yesterday, so I was able to make moves to replace them. During the day they somehow switched back to being listed as DTD, even though they are clearly going on the IL to start the year, and now I can't make any other moves because I have two DTD players on the IL.

Season starts today. Players who will miss months are still listed as DTD. Come on! This is fantasy, not anything official. Do what needs to be done!!

Devin Williams of the Milwaukee Brewers is listed on IL in real life and all other Fantasy formats ESPN CBS and all others but you have him listed DTD . He out for 3 months with back fractures. Makes it frustrating to use Yahoo when you cant make changes Please correct
You have several players who are DTD who have been on IL and not corrected here.

Jordan Romano was placed on IR with news he will start on the IR. Then he was taken of IR and placed on DTD in fantasy. Why?
