Drafts - Extended draft pick times and slow drafts
This would allow commissioners to extend the time that is allotted to each team for each pick during the draft longer than the current maximum. Currently, the maximum draft pick time is 2 minutes.

You guys should have an online option to draft more than 2 minutes per pick for slow drafts. This would be very useful for dynasty leagues instead of having to use the offline feature. This helps the commissioner. I suggest having options for 4, 8, n 12 hour windows per pick.

Each division has its own draft and waiver wire. Allows leagues to expand without watering down the talent pool.

Shoot, two minutes is way to long! I look for 30 seconds. Adding a Slow Draft would be nice, but adding more time for a live online draft? No!

If I could only make one change to Yahoo fantasy sports, it would be to add a slow draft (like what Sleeper has). It's great for dynasty leagues, especially if you can trade picks during the draft. The leagues I run have always done these drafts through the message boards, which have now been removed. So adding a slow draft feature would be super helpful.

2 minutes is a descent amount of time for veteran players. The first third of a draft goes pretty fast anyways. It gets to the middle and late rounds where more adjustments and pivoting of rosters need to be made. More time per pick would help with avoiding the auto pick and be more thorough in the selection process. Also more time for each pick would not discourage new players. 4 mins max.

Good idea for those of us that like the slow drafts.
We hold ours on a Google Sheets spreadsheet online. So it's an offline draft. Lots of fun though. Our draft usually takes 8-11 days. First few years it used to take like 16 or 17 days to get it done. But after 10 years of doing it we knock it off in like 8 or so.
Maybe if Yahoo had longer timer options as you petition, we would consider doing ours on Yahoo. But our offline draft has gotten pretty elaborate w/ OTC timer and a bunch of other stuff. Very creative and intense. Lots of fun, much like the real thing.

Hello, I would like you to consider extending the draft timer options past two minutes. I would like up to five. We have been drafting live for 20 years and have to move online this year. We take the league too seriously to risk auto picks after two minutes. We don't want to deal with reverting picks and other timer issues.
