minor league keepers system for dynasty
allow minors for keeper expand rosters #

Yahoo is lagging behind in allowing dynasty versatility. A 40 man roster would be a simple change that would help greatly. Currently it is impossible to differentiate between minor leaguers, paternity leave, free agents, etc.

I've been a part of a dynasty league for about 15 years and a minor league function would make things so much easier. Right now, we just have to use the NA spots for our minor leaguers and Yahoo allows only so many. Plus, we are only limited to 30-man rosters, so from year to year we end up having to drop a lot of players because IL and NA spots don't count towards your roster total.

Yeah Yahoo has really lagged behind for dynasty and deep-keeper formats. It's a shame because a lot of people I play with enjoy the Yahoo UI and prefer it, but the functionality and features seem to fall more and more behind every year. Surely there could be a way to develop another section for prospects/minor leaguers. Have Active Roster/ Bench/Minors/IL as all separate sections.

For many of our leagues, we used the message boards to keep track of our prospect farm lists and the moves made regarding them. If you could remove the restrictions on NA roster spots, we would be able to keep those prospects right on our roster without freezing our moves if that prospect gets called up and loses their NA designation. Then we could use the new chat for recording farm moves and then could survive without the message boards. And individual commissioners could police the use of NA roster spots in their own leagues. Would it be possible to make this adjustment?

Please add this function in Yahoo … my Commish has moved his leagues to Fantrax due to the message boards being removed with the idea that he could move back for next year, but now he is loving the minors spots on the roster and doesn’t need to keep posting it so he’s thinking about not moving back … please add either the minors spot OR make rhe NA spots have no restrictions so we can put whoever we want on them whether they are designated NA or not … then the Commishoners for each league can police them as they see fit 👍👍

We have a prospect/farm system and having a “Minors” roster spot would be awesome. But an easier fix would be to allow us to put any players on NA whether they are NA designated or not. If the roster freeze restrictions were lifted from the NA roster spots, we wouldn’t need the Message Boards which were recently taken away. Please make this change 👍

Definitely need this. My dynasty league is in year 3 and each year we've had serious conversations about moving to CBS or somewhere else. We've done our redraft league with yahoo for 8 years now and love it but maintaining a dynasty league is so difficult on yahoo. This would help.

This would be pretty great. League's been on Yahoo since its inception in 2013, but may have to move to Fantrax if Yahoo wants to neglect dynasty farm systems.

Please use NA as the default status for all players who are in the Minor Leagues and have not yet played a game at the MLB level. Noelvi Marte for instance is not listed as NA, and has never played above A+ level. Thank you.

Have an excel function of some sort available on a tab at top, where we can keep track of a "farm system" ourselves.
One of my old Leagues, we had a 10 player per team minor league farm I ran on Proboards.com
We used Yahoo for our "Major League" system, and Proboards as our "Minor League" system. -
