Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.

Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

    "Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season. Managers can continue to communicate via the ‘Email League’ feature and if you're looking to make a trade, we recommend using the 'Trading List' option, both of which are available under the 'League' tab." When will the "Chat" be available, this season? Not having either will be a hassle and quite frankly runs the communication and interaction with your fellow players. Why not leave the "message boards" until you have the chat running? Thanks!

    We used to use it for organizing before the season. It gave us a place to converse about draft times, negotiate keeper rules, etc. It wasn't particularly useful once the season started, but we did like it a lot for before the draft and at the end of the season.

    I don't use the message board and I won't miss it. All I have seen recently are teams arguing or yelling at each other. Good riddance.

    We used the message boards to propose and vote on rule changes, make announcements, etc.The chat feature in the app is not as good (lots of other "noise" there with transactions). Email only works if users provide a good email address that they check regularly, and there's no reply all option. Commissioner notes are okay for announcements, but there is no opportunity for others to interact. Please bring back message boards.

    I understand the no message board this year I am ok with it but will you please put the email league option on the yahoo fantasy app so it makes it easier for the people that use the app to email the league. If you could do that it would be great. Please and Thank you.

    95% of the leagues I'm in use the message boards as our main communication since a lot of the GMs don't have the App. Taking the boards away is a huge negative & severely hinders league communication

    We keep track of all the league accounting on the message board... we've been doing it this way for over 10 years. Why would you take away the message boards??

    YAHOO NOW SUCKS without the message boards -- and THEY ARE NOT LISTENING TO US, the customers. The message boards were the most fun part. I'm starting to look at alternatives today, and will likely dissolve my league this weekend.

    Can the commissioners messages be shown in the app? It’s the only useful communication tool that you haven’t f’ed up.

    i have no idea why you'd cut the message boards before you had a fully built out chat alternative. feels like you're a year early. we've moved to whatsapp, which i suspect many will do. so when you do get around to releasing something it'll have to be good enough to migrate again

    I've been trying my best to continue to commission 2 yahoo leagues, both are over 10 year running dynasty leagues. The headaches in doing so are not worth the reward with your Bafoonish change.
    Good Bye Yahoo. We are all off to greener pastures.

    I need to drop out of a public league with no commissioner, The baseball league is 10105. Please drop me out of that league

    I do not agree with this change at all. It was nice having the message board for important messages, trades, polls and discussion about topics. Then the messaging system was more for goofing around, joking, and making plans for get togethers with other league members.

    This change just puts everything together and will make discussions harder to follow. It will also make it tougher to go back to a certain topic and reply.

    Two thumbs down.

    Yahoo is already the worst platform for dynasty leagues. We got around Yahoos deficiencies using message boards posts. This is just one more step toward pushing me to CBS for fantasy baseball.

    "You've been with us for 20+ years? Go _ _ _ _ yourselves."

    Smart.

    I can't get over how absurd and unnecessary this "change" is.

    The ultimate outcome: driving us away, and dissolving FREE leagues ... shifting platform's focus/support toward gambling ... must be the motive ...

    Directing us all here is the equivalent of muting us 🔇
