[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Yahoo! Please take this very seriously! You're killing your leagues! The boards are vital to running these leagues - whether it's for important conversations re: league setup and decisions, trade arguements, communication between managers, and just regular ol' smack talk and FUN. You are digging your own grave here by removing this! PLEASE BRING THE BOARDS BACK! Without boards, I have to move my leagues to another site, as much as I'd hate to do so. If this is going to bleed into your other fantasy sports and not just baseball, you MUST REVERSE THIS DECISION. we all managed to live without .gifs, but this is just TOO FAR.

Are you people running Yahoo trying to kill Fantasy leagues? I run over 8 leagues,,and my message boards are the life line in my leagues,,I have info I carry over year to year,,that I post on those boards,,who is the shallow minded person that came up with this plan?We as commisioners need ALL MESSAGE boards in every league,,half my managers do not and will not use chat room.Wake up Yahoo,,I need to carry over my message board info from year to year,,tc of this,or I will be moving ALL my fantasy leagues away from Yahoo & move it to the many other options that are available.

No more message boards?
I'll quote Bart Simpsons then: "So long, suckers"

Yahoo, please find a way to renew the contract with the message board provider or find a new one. Especially for leagues with concepts that need to keep track of trades, prospect farms, offline drafts, player swaps, protections lists etc etc, this would be devastating. The league chat is garbage, it's not a replacement.

I was told by u/YahooFantasyCare that we could conduct our non-live draft via Chat on their app. As far as I know, the Chat cannot be searched, and Chats cannot be aggregated by thread, like the message board can.
So, when an owner inevitably makes a pick out of order, or picks a player that's already been taken - in order to find the original post, I guess we could just scroll? Yes, that's totally usable....And, given how absolutely terrible their app is, I'm surprised they thought it was a workable solution.
I did respond to them that their solution was completely unworkable, and asked them to provide me with their rationale for why they made the decision to remove the message board, but they have not replied to that. I assume they won't reply.

Can you please at least restore for previous year. We stored our trades and lottery results for this year's draft order. Really sucks to lose with no heads up so we could screen shot at least.

Are serious! Wtf. I've been running my league for off line drafts using the main message board. This needs to come back

I may have to move all of my leagues to Fleaflicker. We conduct our off-line drafts via message board. Not only does Fleaflicker have a feature that allows a non-live draft, but they also allow members to communicate with one another through the league message board. So, what is the deal? Does Yahoo think that leagues can't police themselves regarding message board content? This is totally stupid and short-sighted. But, what do you expect for free? Wait - Fleaflicker is free.

Bring back the message boards. Many dynasty leagues conduct off-line drafts using the boards.
