I may have to move all of my leagues to Fleaflicker. We conduct our off-line drafts via message board. Not only does Fleaflicker have a feature that allows a non-live draft, but they also allow members to communicate with one another through the league message board. So, what is the deal? Does Yahoo think that leagues can't police themselves regarding message board content? This is totally stupid and short-sighted. But, what do you expect for free? Wait - Fleaflicker is free.
I was told by u/YahooFantasyCare that we could conduct our non-live draft via Chat on their app. As far as I know, the Chat cannot be searched, and Chats cannot be aggregated by thread, like the message board can.
So, when an owner inevitably makes a pick out of order, or picks a player that's already been taken - in order to find the original post, I guess we could just scroll? Yes, that's totally usable....And, given how absolutely terrible their app is, I'm surprised they thought it was a workable solution.
I did respond to them that their solution was completely unworkable, and asked them to provide me with their rationale for why they made the decision to remove the message board, but they have not replied to that. I assume they won't reply.
