[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Why do you go out of your way to make your product worse? Please fire your entire development team. There's a hundred common sense ways to make things better, and instead you decide to TAKE AWAY FEATURES.

I have tried using CHAT. No other managers use it. Please bring back the Message Board. It is so important that much of the joy of playing fantasy sports will be lost.

Chat is a garbage feature. Message boards are much easier to navigate, and much easier to use for drafting our dynasty leagues. You guys are trying to be like Sleeper but it's not working. We're going to move out 20+ year dynasty league to CBS if you don't have message boards for football.

The league needs a way to communicate with each other via the app.
Baseball goes hand in hand with joking and good-natured ribbing of the competition. There is no longer a quick way to talk to one another!!! -

The lack of the league discussion board this season is extremely annoying. Our league used the discussion board for all communications and new content was automatically emailed to the league's managers. Now there is no notification of new chat messages, and there is no way to reply directly to a post. We used the message board for rule discussions, fee discussions and all other kinds of communications.

This sucks the message board was the best way to communicate with everybody.whoever came up with this new format should be fired

Why would you ask for feedback AFTER making these changes? Morons. In case you haven't figured it out, message boards were a big part of the league that I run EVERY YEAR and was the main way for me to communicate with other managers. Now, using your ****** chat service and email, all of the communication is a total mess. Way to ***** up something that wasn't a problem, Yahoo.

this sucks. the message board is where we talk smack to each other in our league, The Fantasy Smack Baseball League. I have no interest in using chat - we're not 12 year old kids glued to our phones. we've been using yahoo forever, but this might make us shift.

To Andrew Woitkoski - just make a quick FANTRAX account (user name / email / password just like here) and copy and paste your league rosters over there.
FANTRAX is totally free and is dedicated to fantasy sports period. Excellent site and where most of us Yahoo refugees have gone. Tons more options there and of course an excellent Message Board too.
FANTRAX also has great customer service. They get back to you quickly and treat you with respect.

This is a horrible, horrible change. Why would you do this? What could be the possible benefit? If it weren't for keepers I would ditch this bush league site and move to CBS.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Pay good money to be in public money leagues(yahoo pro leagues) dont know anyone in the league and cant even converse. Actually ridiculous and makes Yahoo site seem cheap and backdated

I have no idea why you took away message boards. Not all managers allow emails from the league, and so the message boards were a vital way to communicate. They also provided a record of communication on the league page, which seems vital. Granted, they were not used constantly, but they were used. So why take them away? Did it really save that much storage? Plus, you mention Fantasy Chat, I can't find that. You mention this chat thing so why not put a link on our league home page? I have looked everywhere for "Fantasy Chat." Is it just a phone app thing? Terrible.

Why? What good is coming of this? Keeping in touch with my friends in the league is one of the joys of the seasons.

This is a HORRIBLE change! We use the Message board to make important league announcements, for comradery and community!
Messaging does not allow in-line feedback and hampers collaboration. This change has a negative effect on the value of your product.

Terrible idea - why take away a very important thing like communicating with the entire league? It is by far the easiest way to get messages to the other teams in the league - I do not check my emails everyday & did not find out our league was up & running until a week before the draft - this is very unprofessional in my book - probably going to move my Fantasy Football league this year away from Yahoo.........
