[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

This is ridiculous. The chat sucks. You can't even divide it by topic and it becomes confusing with multiple leagues. Bring back the message board. How hard is it to have both? Even my ****** website that I built as a high schooler in 2000 had a working message board. My league would like to stay on this site but each year you remove core features.

Chat feature is nice, but you can't access it through the web. Along with a lot of other features like keeper selections, commissioner tools. When will the app provide all the same options as the website???

As a league commissioner, this is a relief as there's always someone wanting to grandstand, make predictions, ***** about a trade, or insist on scoring modifications. It never ends although my league is in it 17th year.

I can't seem to find Fantasy Chat through my browser window on my desktop computer. Where is it?

A GREAT idea as Message Boards tended to be as divisive as Online Commentary elsewhere has been. The Comments below reflect well the tonal deafness of those online. It's a shame that members of Communities so often fail at the 3 Questions my Students ask themselves before Posting Online. "Does this need to be said?"
"Does this need to be said NOW?"
And "Does this need to be said by ME?"
With our League Co-ed and with several Kids following their Dads' as Managers, not having to worry or moderate the thoughtless is a fine addition.
Your Platform is imperfect but at this price,it's well worth it and a wonderful Yearly tradition. Thanks!!! -

Fantasy math Message boards has 2307 comments and the number issue has 276. Sounds like someone doesn't want to listen.
And I think your App is one of the worst I have used. I guess that you are going to force me to use this awful App.

Is Yahoo in touch with reality or just fantasy. What is the point?

Never thought I'd wish the Stanford woman was still in charge;

where is the chat? What does it mean that I can still use Fantasy Chat? Where is that? The loss of the message board seems quite unfortunate... love the fantasy server generally of course. You all rock!

Bring back message board. I might as well switch to Fantrax.

Please bring message boards back. I love playing Fantasy sports on Yahoo, but dealing with emails and yet another chat app is a nightmare. Not sure at all why Yahoo would change something like this.

Jack Smith... Go to 'My Team', 'Edit team Info'. At the very bottom, right, in teensy letters, you can click to delete. (These instructions are for the website. I don't use a phone for fantasy, so it may be different there.)

It's also frustrating trying to give people draft updates when emailing the league is a desktop only feature. And then the chat isn't available on desktop. So I am having to juggle devices to post the same content. :(

This is a bad decision. People are always complaining that they missed deadlines, information, or notices. Do you know how hard it was to find the chat box. Shouldn't it be at the top if this is the new form of communication?

I mistakenly joined a head-to-head league that I want to drop out of. So far, I have not been able to delete my team from the league. Any suggestions?

This is a huge mistake. How can we openly communicate with other managers without sending hundreds of emails, that might not even be read?
The message board is so critical to fantasy sports, can't believe you disabled it. Who is the department head at Yahoo! making these horrible decisions?
The direction of Yahoo! is very disappointing. -

This was the lifeline for our 16 person keeper league with salaries. We had a cap limit and roster limit until June 1st. At that time we opened up the last two slots on our roster as an expansion and the cap goes away until the following year auction. We used the message board to post all adds and drops for transparency. The past few years we went away from this because of COVID and not getting together to draft, but were going to get back to it this year for more turnover of players and get back to normalcy. Please bring it back.

This is a horrible idea and very disappointing. The message board is how we communicated our keepers pre-season, discussed rule changes, etc.
The commissioner's note does not even show up on most people's phone apps, nor does the abilty to select keepers. The chat idea is not reasonable for larger messages.
This has been a very frustrating pre-season trying to get things organized without a message board. I hope Yahoo reconsiders and brings them back ASAP.
