[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Please do not remove the Message - Comments function. We use that as our main form of communication and rely on the discussions that take place there. It is our record of voting on league rules and changes. We use the option to send an email to all owners when a comment has been added. Fantasy Chat is too informal and doesn't provide the historical thread of communications needed to manage a league.

Our league used the message board for keeper drafts, as an addition to the trading block feature, and as a dynasty league that had separate major and minor league rosters, the message board was critical to track the movement of players. Not having the message board will impede our leagues ability to function well throughout the year. The idea that it has a record of conversation on a particular topic in a thread is much more beneficial that simply chatting, and it functions better than email because it is posted for the league on the league page. I like the chat feature, but I don't think it is the most effective way for a league to communicate with one another. Chat is better for individual conversations. I'd love if you could change things back for this season and have the message board. Thank you.

I have been doing fantasy with Yahoo since 2000.. This is the worst thing you have done beside making the new player cards too hard to handle... ESPN?? ok, here I come!!!

@Derrick Thompson - our 3 dynasty leagues moved there a week ago. Fantrax is great.
Time to have your old clunker here hauled to the junk yard and climb into your brand new, sleek and totally free new car...Fantrax.
And they actually respond quickly if you have a question too. Not like the total frozen and arrogant silence here from Yahoo.

I have been running a Yahoo baseball league since 2005. I will hate to lose all of that league history but without the message board I will not be commish. I opened an account with Fantrax to test the water. Draft in 7 days. If all goes well. I am moving and taking 11 other accounts with me. Go woke go broke you POS company.

we utilize the message board to conduct our slow draft in multiple leagues, we have done so for years, we are now considering moving our leagues to another site because of this.

Well Yahoo Sports Email never has worked right. Reply to one of those emails and 80% of the time the original sender never gets your replies. So now they are 3 for 3 in not being able to communicate on this decaying platform. So smoke signals it is. LOL!

I am in a new league and cannot get into chat because there is no place that has my new league. I can get into chats of past leagues where chatting has already begun but can't start a new chat in a new league. Yahoo screws it up again
