Waiver budget not a deterrent
If someone came up with an idea that a waiver budget would deter pitching dumping, it isn't working. In the league I'm currently in, teams are dumping 3-4 starting pitchers a day. You can see that they are probably placing 6-7 pitchers on waivers, not putting any price on them, and then just letting the waiver positioning grant them 3-4. So...not spending the budget means unlimited transactions. Between fan points scoring and unlimited transactions, I'm pretty much done with Yahoo Sports for fantasy baseball.
