Dynasty/Keepers - Leave league open to allow trading, adds, and drops during the offseason.
This would allow managers to make all league transactions within the platform, including adds, drops, and trades, throughout the year.

With Dynasty growing more and more in popularity, would love an option here at Yahoo. I lot of my managers prefer the interface but it's so hard keeping a Dynasty going using Yahoo. Everything needs to be kept in a spreadsheet and then manually re-entered come the next season. That takes a lot of time, especially for bigger leagues. I'd say most of the Dynasty leagues I'm in have transitioned to Fantrax a long time ago. Their app is getting better and it's usability is catching up with Yahoo's.

Yes and add “Minors” roster spot so we could continue with our farm/prospect systems now that Message Boards are gone. Or allow us to put any player on NA regardless of whether they are NA designated or not. Then we could use NA to keep prospects right on our roster without freezing our player adds when a prospect is no longer designated as NA once called up to MLB. Please take a look at this option 👍

Have a number of amount of years you can keep a player, for instance, say you want to keep Jose Ramirez for 5 years but you only want to keep Josh Bell for 3 years.. it will 'LOCK' that player on your Roster for that number of years and if wanted to trade the team taking that player takes on the number of years....

It should show how many Keepers are allowed for the League, this was you can Trade and/or pick or drop players accordingly

I would like keeper functionality added to the app. I run two keeper leagues (football & baseball) and participate in around (hockey) - managers need to be able to select their keepers via the app, this has been a pain point for years. I understand having commissioners utilize the website to finalize details - but please add the functionality to the app!

I’m entering the 17th season as a commissioner of a great dynasty league. We have stayed on Yahoo because people are familiar with the user-friendly interface, and because all our league history is there. I think we’d really benefit from a few keeper/dynasty related improvements!
1. Option for expanded roster sizes, and expanded number of NA spots. We have 17-man farms and can’t show everyone via Yahoo, so we have an outside spreadsheet tracking our rosters. It would be helpful as well to have the option for more than 30 roster spots.
2. Multiple team trade options through Yahoo. We have many 3-team trades, but we have to manually process them at the moment.
3. Keeping the app live during the offseason for trades in dynasty and keeper leagues.
4. The more stats the better! And not just player stats, but fun things to drive interest like career records against other managers, years since a playoff birth, rankings of farm systems, etc.
5. Enhance the league record book! Those are always fun to look at, though the numbers can get a little wonky and inaccurate at times. Expanding beyond the scoring categories and adding things like most trades, most transactions, etc. would be fun too.
Many of these are already mentioned in the polls, and I think they would go a long way for dynasty and keeper managers - thank you!

This would be a great idea since Yahoo doesn't offer anything new year-to-year in H2H football, baseball, basketball and hockey... it would be great for commissioners too

Commish of a 16-team keeper league. A few members in the league LOVE to trade, which Yahoo disallows the day following the regular season (I think?). I would love to have the ability to move players around at least until Yahoo shuts the game down for good over the winter. I now have to manually enter the trades into a Google Sheet and move the players around when the game opens back up in February.
You have the league accessible for a month, but commissioners can't do ANYTHING to help keep the league going. If that's the case, why not just shut it down in October? I'm not asking for year-round access, but another month wouldn't hurt.

in our dynasty league we reduce our rosters the last day of the regular season to 26 but as Yahoo has it now with transactions ending the last day of the year it is impossible to accomplish this and not upsetting the active rosters for the last day of the season.

100% Plus keep NA slots open when spring rolls around at very least. They disappear every spring before the draft. Messes up all dynasty leagues every year. We have to save them (prospects) on spreadsheets and do a manually draft because of this stupid problem that Yahoo "promised" to fix like a decade ago.

Why stop at the N/A slots and leave an imperfect system for years? Been waiting for several years now for minor leagues being added. In my dynasty league we have 6 minor league slots that can be kept as keepers and you aren't forced to call them up the instant they get called up. Yahoo not having this available is the only reason we haven't switched our league over to using yahoo.

Totally agree. This is important for all non re-draft leagues. Other platforms have access year-round, Yahoo should as well

Implement year-round MiLB roster management for Dynasty leagues on the premium fantasy service. We have had to move all our Dynasty leagues to Fantrax because the current keeper system is inadequate at best.
