Stop creating teams for me! How do I delete?
How can I remove myself from a league that I did not want to join?
I keep getting added to new leagues accidentally - it happened with a basketball team, and now Yahoo added me to a THIRD baseball league -- that gets in the way of the two leagues I want to actively play. And it ruins the legitimacy of your rankings and tier ratings of fantasy managers. My primary reason to STAY with Yahoo fantasy is becaus of that rich data and history of 20 years and multiple leagues.
Stop automatically signing people up for a league -- that's shady marketing to sneak links in when your customers are trying to join and participate in their real drafts.
When this happened once, I dealt with it and grumbled all through basketball season. Now it happens again and I'll be mad every time I log in and see that unmanaged team, all baseball season.

The league that you signed up for is referred to as an "Instant Draft." This means that you're automatically placed in a Public league once you enter the draft lobby. Once the draft is over, it's not possible for you or Yahoo to remove or transfer your team from the league.
I apologize that we can't be of more assistance, but do know that you're not obligated to visit the team pages for the entirety of the season. In the Yahoo Fantasy app, you can either hide your league from the home screen or customize league notifications using the steps below:
Hide your teams:
- Tap the Profile icon at the top left.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Customize menu.
- Tap Hide next to any league you want to remove from the home screen.
Customize notifications:
- Tap the Profile icon at the top left.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Push Notification Settings.
- Tap the league you want to customize notifications for.
