Weather My Location Wrong

I'm not in San Juan Capistrano today but your closer than you were yesterday. By default Yahoo gets mt current location wrong, sometimes by 100 miles or more. If I use Detect My Location it gets it right but if I close My Yahoo and reopen its wrong again, sometimes even reverts if I just open an artical in My Yahoo.

    I suspect the problem is with your ISP and/or your browser but not with Yahoo.

    I feel lucky, it only chooses the next town north. Trust me, my desktop does not go there. It also adds random locations with no way to delete them. What kind of **** is that.

    I live in Seattle, but YOU have me living in West Valley Utah. WHY???

    P.S. I've never stepped foot in West Valley Utah!

    Now the 4 locations I track are all gone and can'tbeadded back, and current location is wrong.
    MyYahoo is a disaster.

    Worst Current Location yet, today I am in Allen, Texas, not Laguna Hills, Ca. Yahoo is even less responsive than Facebook.

    Yahoo Weather location started detecting wrong location around early June 2024. Detects my location as "Blayney NSW Australia" whereas I am in Sydney NSW Australia - about 260km away. If I manually Detect location it updates to the correct location but next time I refresh my browser it goes back to Blayney.
    iplocation correctly resolves my true location so not sure why Yahoo can't detect it correctly.

    My Current Location was correct for the first time in many months all day yesterday and this morning but I went to Costco 2.7 miles away. When I got home my phone was back in Coachella 90 miles away

    For the last 2 days I have been located in San Jaun Capistrano only 8 miles from where I actually am, but today I am once again located in Coachella about 90 miles away.
    WHY CAN'T YAHOO FIX THIS? Workefine for years.

    I find it exciting to see where my current location is on the Yahoo weather app. Sometimes as close as 8 miles, sometimes we'll over 200 miles away. Usually about 60 to 100 miles and I haven't even moved.

    If I use Google it gets it right every time. Today I drove 3 miles to Lake Forest CA, It gave Riverside, CA 60 miles+ away as my current location. Drove home and it shows San Diego 90 miles in the opposite direction.

    Not only is my weather location wrong, sometimes by hundreds of miles, I am also finding "near me" searches are wrong too. Today about 70 miles off.

    only easy solution
    delete weather
    yahoo wants to charge for answers
    make google your homepage
