Completely agree that my yahoo page should be left alone. My Yahoo page is set up the way I want it now and I don't want it set up by somebody else (Yahoo)

My Yahoo home page is my go to to keep track of all things I need. The yahoo home page is not even close to My Yahoo. If I can't customize and track my stock portfolios what is the point? Why do people keep ruining things in the name of change. Once My Yahoo is gone, I have no need for yahoo anymore.

Why do you want to F with stuff that's not broken or a user problem and shove a bunch of **** down our throats that we don't want.
Like others have said - I'm happy with the way it works and the features I currently have. You guys F this up and will never use the home page again - period.

Let me guess. For a monthly fee you will leave My Yahoo Page alone. Am I right?

Leave it be Yahoo. It's all you have left.

Like others have posted, I start my day by going to My Yahoo which I have customized to show me what I want to see in one view (news, finance, sports, weather). The new proposed replacement is terrible. I do not see a way to customize the view, it forces me to click multiple different places to see my portfolios, my sports results, the weather and is full of unwanted ads. I always saw My Yahoo as a welcome mat to my day, but now you are ruining that. It sure seems like you want to force your loyal Yahoo community away.

I start the day by getting news from chosen sources via My Yahoo. If that goes away, I can't imagine any reason to visit Yahoo ever. Also, I was considering switching my email to Yahoo, but this change announcement has convinced me that Yahoo can't be trusted to maintain important services. I was starting to see Yahoo as an alternative to Google-world, but will keep looking for that.

I've used Yahoo since 1997. The main site is not a replacement at all for the portal, and pretending that the redesigned front page has any customizability or has any replacement value from my yahoo is a farce. Removing the my yahoo portal will be my last straw, and I'll be canceling my Mail+ subscription at the same time.

the day My.Yahoo is retired is the day I tell everyone to move to another provider. Been a loyal Yahooer for 20 years and this change you're making is horrible.

Yahoo user since the 1990's. Agree with many others, if they ditch the my.yahoo page I have no reason for Yahoo any longer.

Good way to drive people away from your site. Provide them a page they can tailor with all the sections and links they desire, then take it away because you think you can do better. I will definitely leave Yahoo as a homepage when you remove this feature. Don’t fix what’s not broken!

So you're going to decide what is important to me instead of letting me decide? No thank you. The day My Yahoo is removed, I'll remove myself from Yahoo as well.

My Yahoo is perfect and changing or deleting it will be a HUGE mistake. Features like customize content (Display portfolio) and bookmarks each category clearly displayed to select area of interest.
I have been using the My Yahoo page for over twenty years! Please leave it alone as an available option for your Yahoo customers.
II agree with every one of the other comments by dedicated My Yahoo customers. You have gold in this page, please don't turn it into lead! Don't like change, especially when it is not good. When Yahoo makes this change, I, and it looks like many will make a change away from Yahoo. While the resounding response is "To just leave it alone", generally this is true, add content would be welcomed for us to select more of the things we could use. Please just improve on what your have which is excellent.

My Yahoo is great, I have been able to put all the things that are important to me on one page. The "New Yahoo" is terrible. It appears not at all customizable, and shows me what YOU WANT ME TO SEE, Not WHAT I WANT TO SEE!!!
Like others, I would be extremely disappointed if this hapens, and will have no reason to use Yhaoo for anything going forward.

Piling on. My Yahoo is the best thing about Yahoo. If anything, you should work on adding to it and making it a little easier to use.
From what I can see the replacement product is just Yahoo.com, with no user ability to define the content. There's no value to that.
Even though it is at the top of the page, the notice that you are planning to eliminate My Yahoo is nt big enough to be prominent -- my eye usually goes to the elements on my page, not the stuff at the top. I'm sure there are many more people who haven't noticed it yet and who would also object to its removal. As with the elimination of Yahoo Groups, you seem to be begging people to take their business elsewhere.
Please reconsider.

My Yahoo differentiates you from other websites. If there is no more My Yahoo, what is my incentive to continue to use Yahoo at all? I'd even pay for a Yahoo email account if it meant we could keep My Yahoo. In fact, My Yahoo is probably the greatest asset that Yahoo owns.

Extremely disappointed. If y'all follow through, I'll cancel my Premium finance and move onto someone else. The easy integration was the major selling point. Take that away, and there's nothing left that can't be found elsewhere.

It is extremely important to leave My.Yahoo the way it is now! If something is working for the people using it, WHY CHANGE IT???

Wholly unimpressed with "new" version. Current MyYahoo is great (though its quality & functionality have steadily declined). Completely agree with other users about going elsewhere if MyYahoo shuts down. Not at all a good idea.
