The current My Yahoo is my main jumping-off point every morning and evening. The portfolio display and highlights of various news and tech blogs are a convenient way to stay informed. I saw nothing at the “new yahoo.com Try It Out” link that would accomplish the same goals. Please reconsider sunsetting My Yahoo. A lot of us have spent decades honing it for our personal use.

I have been with My Yahoo for around 24 years. I depend on it for my investment display, news and sports scores. PLEASE, PLEASE do not take it away from me.

I too am a very long time user and have my home page showing what I want to see.
I did click on the banner to view the new front page.
It shows almost nothing of interest, and none of the info I want, like my stocks and local weather.
I do not want sports or entertainment "news" cluttering things up.
I want to keep my existing front page, AND the old style mail box page I currently have.
I've been online since 1982 via ARPA Net, the military Tech Nets, UseNet and dial up BBSs.
New IS NOT always better. -

"We're building a new yahoo.com to show more of what's interesting to you."
You know what is interesting to me? My portfolio and my favorite sports teams. I see neither of them on the new Yahoo page. You're only doing this for more clicks. To get my weather, my portfolio and when my favortie sports teams are playing I would have to go to 3 separate pages. The new look is a royal mess. Keep My Yahoo.

This is a good way to make sure I never visit Yahoo! again - remove the _ONLY_ thing I use on Yahoo! - the MyYahoo! pages. There are lots of things you could do to make them better, but instead you got the idea to just remove them?! Seriously?

I have been using My Yahoo for my homepage since it was started. The only reason I use yahoo is for the My Yahoo homepage.Change your main page if you want, but PLEASE leave My Yahoo alone for those of us who still want it.

We don't want a page of contrived pictures. We want the text to browse. I looked at the new one and it's no different than any other fictional "interest" page. You don't know what I want to see, if you did you would know I don't want pictures.

Trying to force people to look at things Yahoo thinks is important is really not a good idea. I pay for my time on Yahoo so I can customize my page to see what I really do want to see. The preview of the new homepage is horrible, to say the least. I could not find one article I really was interested in reading... If Yahoo wants to offer this horrible home page to people who really don't care, go for it, but please for those of us who depend on My Yahoo to inform us of what really is important to me as an individual, keep the My Yahoo up...don't take it away or I as many others will have to unsubscribe and find a company willing to leave good things alone!

I'm already looking for a new home page. You want to try something new, fine, just leave us the option of sticking with the old system.

If you take My Yahoo away which has all the best customizable features anyone could want, then you've lost another subscriber I'm going away with it. Whoever made this inane (asinine) decision must be hoping to justify his job possibly for year end approval ratings.

The new webpage is horrible. The old My Yahoo let me choose what to see so I'm not scrolling through all sorts of garbage to see what I want. If this new one is not customizeable so I can get rid of all the things I have no interest in whatsoever, then I'll just have to cancel my Yahoo subscription.

My Yahoo is my home page with Yahoo mail, Stock tickers with summarized investment values, weather, customized news. How the new Yahoo will replace these? What I have seen I cannot put any of these. Who the **** made this decision?

Time to look for new homepage so I will be ready to change over when this misguided idea takes effect.

Hey Yahoo let's hear your response to our feedback. Justify your changes if you can.

Besides no customized homepage anymore
most of the news content providers are no longer available! What is the point of downgrading this service? I am actively scouting out a Yahoo replacement then goodbye to your service. What a silly move on Yahoo's part. -

I agree I use my yahoo as a customized home page, and would hate the change. Is there an option to keep using my yahoo as it now exists?

Your My Yahoo update will ruin the point of using Yahoo at all. I use My Yahoo page as a curated RSS reader, your update turns it into yet another trashy website. I will stop using Yahoo if you do not permit the ability to have curated RSS feeds on a page. I do not want any of the stuff you are proposing to replace it with. Stop ruining things that are working perfectly fine as is.

Your "NEW" yahoo is a bust. Just a long list of stories I may or may not want to see. Leave MYYHOO alone. If it goes away, I will likely have to find a new Home page.
