Someone suggested protopage as a replacement, and it looks promising. Might even be better. Buh-bye, yahoo!

WHYYYYY!?!?!?!? I LOVED coming to my.yahoo.com to check out MY news feeds and my stocks! Nowhere else had this! Why was this changed and done away with!?

What a pile of junk Yahoo is - only reason I used it was because My Yahoo - their news feeds already were full of trash

They no longer want people over 30. It is being set up to try to lure people who do everything on their phone. .It's for the people that care about celebrity news more than R.EAL news Don't get me wrong ,I use my phone especially if it's something quick or if I'm out of the house or work. Those of us that still use laptops and desktops are no longer important. I have no interest in starting from scratch. But if I have to it won't be with Yahoo.

All the comments here reflect my sentiments completely. You had me, now you lost me.

All my critical links are on the old Yahoo homepage. I am screwed now thanks to your boneheaded greed. Just to get a few more clicks, you alienate all your loyal customers. I am going to search for a new homepage, somewhere that isn't YAHOO! I hope that you enjoy losing a lot of customers, as I am sure that will happen!

Has Yahoo! decided to give up as a company? The new landing page is just a bunch of random junk with big pictures that clutter the screen.
At first I thought that something at Yahoo! was broken, or that the new landing page was a temporary thing during some transition, but no, the official home page is now as appealing as a graffiti-covered fence around a construction site. -

I'm disappointed that Yahoo has removed the My Yahoo page and I've lost my Bookmarks. My Yahoo was my go to home because I had my bookmarks there. If they still exist, please send me the link to recover them. If not, I'll find a new site (not Yahoo) to use as a homepage and thanks for all the years of giving me a nice homepage to load.

Why would you take this away? It allowed me to have everything I need in one place, news, sports, weather, finance. Boooo, poor decision, bad idea, BRING IT BACK. I am looking elsewhere now

The only reason I use Yahoo was because of the My Yahoo landing page. Losing all my bookmarks with no way to retrieve is ridiculous. At least allow me to import them! I will be looking to leave Yahoo.

I read a LOT of these comments and wow Crosscheck has it right! You took away the BEST landing page there was out there. I too love the ability to customize exactly what you wanted, and you rat bastards took that away. I work in IT and have gotten a LOT of **** over the years for continuing to have a yahoo email address, but I would defend this to the end because of your homepage. Now, well now you suck. You have entered the realm of the other homepages that are a steaming pile of offal. I lost over 50 bookmarks that I have had on my landing page for DECADES. I see literally thousands of ****** off users here that feel the same. Yahoo was a laughing stock but had a great landing page...now, well now Yahoo just sucks.

The new My Yahoo page is terrible. None of my News Feeds appear, such as the New York Times, CNN, NPR. It is a mess. I'm very disappointed and will likely discontinue using My Yahoo as a home page.

Who thought this was a good idea!! My Yahoo just gone without warning!! The customizable homepage is the reason I use and have used Yahoo for years!! I no longer have a reason to use your website. I have a feeling you'll soon find many many others feel the same. The numbers won't lie! Until it's back adios! I'm now off to find a new customizable homepage and migrate my email over to google. What an unnecessary shame this happened!

The new page is an utter disaster. Not having the ability to customize or personalize my page will not get me to visit Yahoo more often or linger longer (Yahoo's stated goals). If you don't go back to the 'old' MyYahoo set up, I will start migrating those items I do use on Yahoo (email & etc) to other platforms. Yahoo screwed the pooch on this one. If it aint broke, don't fix it
