More emails per page needed
Dear Yahoo Mail Product Team,
I am writing to request a simple but important improvement to the new Yahoo Mail interface: please allow users to customize the vertical spacing (padding) between emails in the inbox.
I use Yahoo Mail on a MacBook with Chrome, and the generous spacing between messages significantly reduces the number of emails I can see on the screen at one time. I would prefer a more compact inbox that allows me to scan and manage my messages efficiently without having to zoom out and make everything smaller.
I understand that the new interface may be designed to look cleaner and more modern. However, users have different needs, and the ability to customize the layout would accommodate both those who prefer spacious displays and those who value information density.
I suggest adding three options under Settings:
Compact: Minimal vertical padding, displaying the maximum number of emails per screen.
Comfortable: The current default spacing.
Spacious: Extra spacing for users who prefer it.
This would be a relatively straightforward way to give users greater control over their inbox without forcing everyone to use the same layout.
I would also appreciate the option to return to the classic interface, or at least have its key productivity features available in the new version.
Please consider this request as part of your ongoing development of Yahoo Mail. A modern design should offer users flexibility rather than reduce their ability to work efficiently.
Thank you for your consideration.
