Here are some guidelines for using this forum:

  1. Please search and vote before posting! If your idea (or an idea very similar to yours) has already been posted, please vote for it. Duplicated ideas may be moved.
  2. This forum is for feedback and ideas only. Unfortunately, we cannot provide support here. For support, please visit our community support forum or find answers on our help site.

  4. Please do not post personal information (such as email addresses, phone numbers or names) on the forum.

The Yahoo product feedback forum requires a valid Yahoo ID and password. If you do not have a Yahoo ID or the password to your Yahoo ID, please sign-up for a new account.

If you have a valid Yahoo ID and password, follow these steps if you would like to remove your posts, comments, votes, and/or profile from the Yahoo product feedback forum.

Hi, please share your suggestions, we are listening

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  3. Run your comment section like reddit.

If you post a comment you can never find what you posted or what other think of your idea. This is not a healthy way to discuss topics and no further understanding comes of it. Also its impossible to find yahoo stories that fall off your scroll.

  5. Yahoo has diabled all comments on news stories.

Unlike other websites that allofw comments on their news stories, Yahoo has disabled their comment section. One wonders what Yahoo is afraid of.

  6. Remove the ability comment anonymously

Require people who choose to comment on articles to be linked to a social media account. This would cut down on the bottom-feeders who like to troll or anonymously propagate their hate. If you stand by it, you should have your name out there when you say it. Maybe there's an integration you can use like disqus to make the community healthier.

  10. "Sponsored content" rips off CNN news site

The "sponsored content" at https://temptingtrenders.com/bradshaw-cnn is a blatant misrepresentation of a CNN news page. It is fake news and should be disallowed. I am reporting to CNN, too.

  13. Change to Homepage new stories

Could you please STOP the incessant, annoying, nonsensical requirement of readers having to hit NEXT in a news story to go to the next page....There is nothing more ANNOYING nor TIME CONSUMING than this!!!!!!! Show all of your adds, etc. at the end of the story which is why the reader is on that story to begin with!!

  15. Why can't Yahoo remember the city that I am in?

Why can't Yahoo remember the city that I am in. It always brings up the weather and directions for a different city. Even when I change it to the correct city, next time I log in, it thinks I am in a different city. Yahoo is going down hill fast.

  16. Shaded background for Sponsored content on Yahoo.com

When scrolling through the news headlines on Yahoo.com, users often encounter many Sponsored items. Please give these items a slightly shaded background (such as beige or gray), so that when scrolling through the page, users can easily discern which stories are actual news items and which are sponsored content.

  17. How do I get HuffPost and Newsweek articles off my news feed? These people are insane.

How do I get rid of this insane ranting from these sites? There is no way to "dislike" anything, just "Like" it. Half your content on the newsfeed is this ranting. Do they pay you for this?

I like seeing diverse viewpoints, but they are ridiculous. At least on Facebook you can say "Don't show posts from this site".
