Friendly Prospect List to help you out this year Yahoo! (Fantasy Baseball)
Hey Yahoo! I thought I'd help you out for the upcoming 2016 season...here's the prospects from the MLB.com Top 100 that you are missing in your player database (as of the end of the 2015 season) as well as some other top prospects that have really risen their stock this past season (I have not included super-unknown prospects; these are well-known guys if you follow prospects). Also yahoo Dynasty fantasy players, comment on any solid prospects that are up-and-comers that are not in the yahoo db and that I don't have listed here:

If you guys at Yahoo! could please take a thoughtful look, that'd be much appreciated! I believe most yahoo fantasy players would really appreciate you guys adding these players to your database this year! I thought I'd make it easier and give you a list of top well-known prospects. Thanks!
P.S. MLB.com's Top 100 prospect list (updated for 2016) comes out on January 29th, so that might be something to use as well. I know you guys get a lot of requests for a deeper and "accurate" prospect database so hope this helps you guys!

Thanks for sending this over Johnny. I am reviewing with our team of experts and will update our list of players accordingly in preparation for the 2016 Fantasy Baseball season.
Joe

Cody Bellinger 1b/OF of the Dodgers is another name missing that could be called up this year as a power bat after hitting 30 bombs last year and crushing it in Spring Training.

Hey Yahoo! MLB.com is slowly releasing their lists of top 10 for each position. Here are the players on the list that weren't available in your database last year but obviously because they made these prospect lists are top prospects and people know them now (I didn't include players that were already mentioned in the original post):
RHP top 10: those missing are already in the list above
LHP top 10:
Cody Reed P for the Reds (there's 2 Cody Reeds, one plays for ARI and this one for CIN)
Josh Hader P for BrewersC top 10:
Wilson Contreras-Cubs
Reese McGuire - Pirates (I think he's missing from the database but could be wrong)
Elias Diaz - Pirates
Dom Nunez - Rockies
Jacob Nottingham - Athletics
Aramis Garcia - Giants1B top 10:
Bobby Bradley - Indians
Cody Bellinger - Dodgers
Jake Bauers - Rays
Sam Travis - Red Sox (he might already be in the database)Again I am just trying to help you guys out. Also I have not included players I already mentioned in the original post to prevent redundance.
Thanks

Awesome! I also forgot about OF Victor Robles who had a breakout season last year too and rose up prospect lists. He plays for the Washington Nationals.

Totally agree with this. There should also be a mid season "update" like around the All-star break or something. Like maybe have some fringe prospects ready to be put in the database at the start of the year and when the All-star break comes then you can add them in to the database or something. I know many yahoo fantasy baseball players who are frustrated that yahoo doesn't have as big a prospect database as CBS and ESPN fantasy baseball. Yahoo needs this to compete with the big boys (CBS and ESPN) and I hope they do

My only concern is that MLB releases their 2016 top 100 list on Jan 29 so it may have some guys you haven't listed (although you did a pretty good job Johnny). Hopefully the yahoo guys are nice and open-minded (willing to make necessary changes) cuz a really deep prospect database is something that's been wanted for years but hasn't been fulfilled 100%

Good timing too since Fantasy baseball opens soon so this gives them time to add these guys.

speaking of catchers there's Wilson Contreras (CHC). He had a great season last year that caused him to rise up prospect lists too. Thanks for posting this!
