subfolders are not shown and no search button, please reinstate
if you made subfolders in the "old" system, they are not shown in the new layot and are not even searchable.
So emails with filters going directly into the subfolders are lost, or not seen. -

do not require days in mails view
I thing do not require days in mail view. It means not required days wise sorting for the mails. Just need to show all the mails directly because its already sorted date wise.
Also there is lot of space between "Today" label and first mail.

Why am I not receiving all my mail. I'm only getting my mail sent to my Yahoo account and then I have to switch to my Pacbell account to get
I can't receive my mail from my Pacbell account along with my Yahoo mail, I have to logout of one acct and log into the other. In your old mail version, I never had this problem. Now even if I go back to the old mail version, it still is making me sign out of one acct to get the other email. This is ridiculous. This is not improving anything. It just makes it more time consuming to do our work.

Field width for folders too narrow, cutting off ends of existings folder names
Field width for folders too narrow, cutting off ends of existings folder names. This means to search for an existing folder, EACH ONE with a longer name has to be opened individually. This makes the new field width hard to organize folders by name heirarchically.

make it easier to flag a sender as safe
I can click "not spam" 100 times and email still goes to the spam folder. It's not clear or intuitive how to add an email sender to a safe list. UX improvements seem needed here.
