Filters
You used to be able to "filter" emails straight from the body of the email. Now there's not an option for that. Instead you have to open the settings, create a filter, going back and forth to the actual message to create the filter. Bring back the option of "filter emails like this" in the body of the email.

I have so many old emails -- I would like to filter email by age (e.g. 1-day, 7-days, etc), so that I can sort by sender, subject, etc, and more easily delete or move mail. With my huge inbox, changing the sorting is painful.

100% agree with this. Thinking of going back to the old version just for the ability to filter e-mails easily.

PLEASE create a filter where we can block DOMAINS without having to write the whole email address every time we want to block. These spamers/scamers and ******* us the same domain for a multitude of handles, specially for totally inappropriate content.

This is my only and biggest complaint with the new Mail, aside from the fact that I CANNOT SWITCH BACK.
There is absolutely no reason why I would ever want to add a filter by copying the sender/subject/content, going into settings, clicking filters, clicking add filter, and pasting in my criteria. If this remains the only way to add filters I simply will have to stop using Yahoo Mail. It'll be a pain to switch over all my subscriptions but filters is how I manage 90% of all emails.

I have multiple filters to re-direct the e-mails to various folders to unclog my inbox. With the new format, I can't even find where to set/change or delete filters any more. Really annoying.

I so agree with this. Who thought taking the filters away from selecting an email needs to be fired. The filters thing needs to be fixed and I do not understand why a company as big as Yahoo is taking so long to implement this!

HOW LONG DOES THIS HAVE TO BE UNDER REVIEW BEFORE ITS IMPLEMENTED. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MOVED TO NEW FORM OF MAIL. WHO IS THE PERSON THAT DIDN'T DO IT. YOUR JUST IGNORING IT NOW. 35 COMMENTS HERE AND LAST ONE WAS MAR 12, 2018. PEOPLE ARE GIVING UP ON YAHOO EMAIL ENGINEERS. I THINK THEY ARE TOO YOUNG TO GET THE JOB DONE. WE NEED WISE OLD ENGINEERS TO MAKE THING EASY. I THINK THESE YOUNGER ENGINEERS ARE LAZY!!!!

All my filters have gone (I had quite a few!) plus adding new filters is now far too complicated. I'm not happy.

can't figure out where to filter emails now. I am thinking of finally getting rid of yahoo. No one I know uses it anymore.

Please bring this back - having to create filers through settings is terrible - for one thing you now have to remember all the email details. It takes so much longer now to organise emails in what used to be a one click job

I painfully set up a bunch of Filters in one of the account I used, and now, they appear to be gone. I can NOT, for the life of me, figure out why on earth they would have dispatched with the "Create Filter" action in the message interface.

Come on Yahoo you used to be better than this Fix the filter and block process.
And why now when trying to block you now say the email address is invalid ??? Why when your system allowed it through.
FF Fix it or do these spammers Pay you for this to happen

WHY CAN I NOT, HIDE THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE, I WISH, WHEN I EMAIL ??
AS I TRY, YOUR SYSTEM HAS NO EFFECT IN HIDING ANY NAMES, EVEN IN THE BCC BLOCK.THAT SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK !!! -

Agree!! It was so easy before to chose to filter an email, it was right there. This feature was critical to ensuring I had less clutter in my main box but was still able to recieve other mail. Why take away this convenience?? Major UX fail
