How can we improve New Mail?

Can't get into contacts to edit without going back into classic mail. Also new version is much slower

    I need to clean out the contact list that pops up when I compose an e-mail. Is that possible?

    I am sick of this. Restore my contacts under old settings. This is disgraceful that I am not allowed to access my contacts.

    Why take away the contact list in new version?! A new version should do more than the prior version, not less. Please fix.
