Sign in with Outlook and Apple mail app
Had trouble signing in to yahoo mail through Outlook and the Iphone mail app, turns out it was because yahoo deems this as a "less secure" security, despite the fact that the only service I have ever used that was insecure was in fact yahoo during the 2016 data breach. This seems like a convoluted and not well sign posted issue. Yahoo said that as Outlook and Iphone mail apps are not a yahoo apps, that it wasn't their issue, despite the problem being from their security. After finding out what the problem was it annoyed me to see the message "less secure" without giving any evidence as to why it is less secure. Just let people use mail in the app they want without having to trawl the internet and useless yahoo help to find the setting to allow it. Most people use these apps its not as though they are unknown and I would genuinely be surprised if yahoo had better security.
