Most modern web browsers have a spellcheck feature built-in, making the spellcheck feature in Mail redundant. Check out your web browser’s help documentation for more info.

    Please enable spelling check and grammar suggestions as one types an email, yahoo is still lagging behind compared to other email account services. Thank you.

    I usually write in French but sometimes in English. When I change the language preferences to English and I write in English the spell checker remains in French. No spell checking in English. Can you help please?

    WHY? WHY? WHY? The ability to underline a word is pretty darned basic. Control/U doesn't work. This might be THE final straw to leave Yahoo.

    Spell check does not work neither in Firefox or Chrome. Long list of complaints so I'm not a particular case. Maybe the easiest solution is close Yahoo and open email with someone else. I think it was overdue any way Let's ditch Yahoo.

    can the auto correct change the single letter "i" to a Capital "I".
    it would say a lot frustration! almost all email services do that. maybe you can ask them how to do it.
