Re: Yahoo email is horrible and they're not listening to the feedback!
You closed comments so I couldn't respond to your comments. so I'm doing it here. According to your response, there are several reasons why I would have to have a code to verify my account. After reading those reasons, none of them apply to me:
1. Yahoo notices suspicious account activity. - there is no suspicious activity. I am the only one besides Yahoo who has access to my account.
2. You're using an unfamiliar browser or device. - I've been using the same PC and browser I've always used.
3. You're traveling away from your usual location. - I haven't gone anywhere or done any traveling.
4. You sign in while using a VPN or a proxy server. - I been using the same network at my job for over 20 years and never encountered a problem until now.
5. You've logged in with a private or incognito window. - I have not used a private or incognito window.
6. There are many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords. - I have not made many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords.
7. The "First time signing in from this device" message appears. - I've been using the same PC and browser I've always used.
8. You've cleared your browser history or data cache including cookies. - I've cleared the browser history and data cache including cookies before and never encountered this problem.
I can accept maybe someone else could have been trying to gain access to my account, but still, me having to go through verifying my account repeatedly is too much.
