You can put the "block" function back in the "more" options. Sorting through all the spam to find personal emails is a pain in the *****
Easy, . . reinstate the blocking function. How hard can it be? You ask how you can improve New Mail, . . . you have your answer !

Thank you for your feedback. Check this article and learn how to block specific email addresses: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln28140.html

It would be nice if there is an option for blocking certain emails and option for read receipt emails or tracking of them.

re add the block feature which you precipitously discontinued. Spammers get mad at you and threaten to quit paying you?

Yeah, so it's a real pain in the rear end to try and find out where I need to go in order to block email addresses that are sending me spam. Most of the time I don't need it, but the few cases I do holy heck the number of hoops to jump through is just staggering.
Can you fix this? Maybe just make it easier to access? -

When some one blocks a "sender/email" in their spam folder why not follow up this request?
is it because yahoo make more money by selling users email addresses???? -

The latest version of Yahoo Mail has made it harder to block email addresses, and it was a few clicks previously. Shouldn't you be able to make this a one-click job?

Block email addresses
Open an email or select it from your mailbox.
Click the More icon Image of the More icon..
Click Block Senders.
Optionally, select to also delete emails you've received from the sender.
Click Ok.THIS DOES NOT WORK! THERE IS NO BLOCK SENDERS IN MORE SETTINGS.
Now once again how to block???

I want an answer as to why the **** you don't allow for blocking and filtering out trashy S_X emails anymore, or for that matter any email I want blocked. That is absolutely ridiculous. And if nothing is done to rectify this Im leaving yahoo once and for all because it has become a despicable and complete disgrace of an email service I have ever seen since Verizon Media took it over.

Under "More" (the three dots) just add the "block" function like the old email. Easy and your done with it.
