LET ME DISABLE THE NEW TRENDING NEWS NOTIFICATIONS FEATURE IN MAIL
LET ME DISABLE THE NEW TRENDING NEWS NOTIFICATIONS FEATURE IN MAIL. In settings, I can only enable/disable desktop notifications. I don't have a way to shut off these annoying new news notifications that pop up in the Yahoo Mail tab.

Need to remove the "Trending" Notification on Yahoo Mail. Yahoo needs to let us remove this NOW!

Agreed, there needs to be a way to disable this popup via settings.

This is seriously irritating - I prefer Yahoo! Mail over Gmail for a variety of reasons, but not having a way to opt out of a recurrent pop-up has me rethinking that. I can totally respect you trying to increase web traffic to your homepage, but LET US OPT OUT.

Please disable. This is extremely annoying, especially for those of us that DON'T care about trending and just want to check email.

This is a popup that appears in the upper right corner of the page. I have only noticed it when I have been on the main mail page, not while reading a specific email. The header message in the popup states "Trending on Yahoo Homepage" and it is quite annoying. I don't really care about all the stupid stuff that is trending in the world. Please give us the option to turn this off in settings or, better yet, just get rid of it.
