I'd consider paying for ad-free email, but only if it was truly ad-free (I see some complaining that they're still getting them in places) Also, only if I could truly control the news on my homepage. Eliminate celeb, sports gossip, click bait etc. your current method of "show less from..." doesn't even come close to working and is a waste of time. If I could eliminate whole categories of "news" like celebrity, fashion, royals, music, sports etc. and instead receive a few real news stories from decent news organizations, I'd pay for ad free. Again, assuming that email is actually ad free.
