Giving users a possibility to change a default language used on main yahoo pages or asking them for approval before redirecting to another language version would be highly appreciated.
And solving apparent bugs, like this one described below, would be appreciated, too.
It seems, Yahoo sets default language of some main pages according location/country of source IP. This feature causes a lot of troubles, especially in cases, when the user does not understand the language set by Yahoo.
Example: When any user in Slovakia enters mail.yahoo.com in browser or signs in to the Yahoo Mail from the main Yahoo webpage www.yahoo.com, the URL is redirected to Slovenian version https://login.yahoo.com/?.src=ym&lang=sl-SK&done=https://mail.yahoo.com/ instead of right Slovak version https://login.yahoo.com/?.src=ym&lang=sk-SK&done=https://mail.yahoo.com/
A note: Slovenia and Slovakia are two different countries where different languages are used.
