Mistakenly reported as spam
I mistakenly reported a sender as spam and now are not able to receive email from them, as they're not even going to my spam folder. I contacted Yahoo Support and they said there is no way to undo this action and suggested I post this request in this forum.
Hi there. If you no longer receive this sender's email address, please contact them to have them re-add you to their sending list.

Spam filtering has become terrible and there is no way to switch of the spam folder. I am constantly seeing really important emails (that are replies to my emails or emails I have responded to) being moved to my spam folder since March 2023. I'm astounded that spam filtering is now so poor as to make it pointless.
* 99% of the emails in my spam folder are not spam and even though I mark them as not spam, subsequent emails are still marked as spam!
* Marking them as not spam means they go to the inbox *without* organising filters being applied
Please resolve or at the very least allow users to mark safe senders or remove spam filtering altogether. -

I've clicked NOT SPAM, and have added the sender to my contacts list, and STILL yahoo!mail sends important emails to spam. WTF??? I see LOTS of other related posts, so clearly this is a known issue.
Why.Don't.You>Fix.It???

Stop Marking my MAILS as Spam. (Even mails of my contacts are sent to SPAM Box. Stop being over-intelligent.
Despite marking them as NOT SPAM, even my contact's mails are being sent to SPAM.
Recognise the fact that I will not read all my e-mails, but I want them, They are NOT SPAM

Why are you marking emails from"Google Alerts" as spam? I keep marking them as "safe" but you keep marking them as spam. WHY?
Why is this message in your Inbox?
We think this message is spam. We still put it into your Inbox as the sender is in your contact list. You can mark this message as safe or remove the sender. -

I mark a mail (for ex:mail from a bank) as 'NOT spam' one time. I expect the Yahoo mail engine to pick the same kind of mail or from same bank (email address)...the next time.
But it NEVER happens...why?
To clarify or to rephrase it in other words;
When a mail is marked as 'Not a spam', why can't the yahoo mail engine recognize the same type or kind of mail next time?
