Keep the old email as an option. The last “new” mail was a poorly designed disaster
I do not want the “new improved” version of Yahoo Mail. The last time you rolled one out was a disaster. On forums, there was 100% consensus that the new version was terrible. To presume to prioritize MY email? What an incredibly short-sighted, gimmicky, and detrimental thing to do. I lost emails in folders and functionality. I have medical history in some of those folders and it is imperative that I have uninterrupted access to them as I go through various required assessments and consultations. Yahoo posted a link that supposedly went to the older version as an option. This was misleading and dishonest. There was a version that looked like it was from the 90s, with even less functionality and retention. Again, the platform you have now is solid. If you want to do something, increase the capacity for mailing attachments. But I cannot overstate my position: do not change to a “new improved Yahoo Mail” nobody wants it.
