unload ads
after leaving Yahoo open overnight, I see the mail window is consuming tons of computer resources. Expanding in Windows task manager, I see a very long list of urls that are from ads that were streamed from the mail app 90% of those are not being actively displayed, but they are actively doing computations in the background according to Task Manager. These ads cumulatively make for a Very High power usage level. Closing and reopening Mail reduces the level to marginal.
So, when you're done showing an ad, unload its resources please!
