Trust matters
my 2 cents is: in a world where SPAM, phishing, cyber criminals and gov's spend time and money to still and cause harm to people (all over the world), and considering changes in yahoo!mail in the last few years, and that still are people like me who insist to use yahoo!mail because we still thing there are goodwill and evangelists of a better world out in the WEB, please consider this: 1) not everyone appreciates mobile "devices" as the safe way to access services on the wild-west-web. 2) not everyone uses M$ products, from a technical, philosophical, personal or safety matter - there are alternatives like UNIX, Linux, MacOS, etc. 3) we all know that making large public/free web services are based on advertisement and collected information about users habits, but invading privacy is against the law in may countries - honesty, empathy, civic spirit, and trust are what motivate people - be kind, after all, God is watching you all the time. 4) deactivating an account is a tough decision - please consider that a persons memories, and important documents could be at risk of obliteration! 5) Many users can't buy blending edge devices, so web interface are needed to fulfill the needs of the many - so making it difficult for one to access his account must be considered a bad idea - please return with the "check questions" options, because many don't have phone number plans or can't install apps/apks - simple is always better (and usually more safe).
