Settings to turn off auto play videos
Is there a way to turn off the videos that automatically play as I scroll through my news feed? It turns off the podcast or news I'm listening to. I want the choice whether to play a video even if it is cute dogs. This just started happening again, I don't know if it's a setting on my side or it was turned back on on your end. Thanks

Customer consent. Yahoo, you do not have my permission to autoplay ads and send me to a third party webpage when I click the 'tiny' X. Change this immediately. This IS fraudulent.

I’m losing my freaking mind because I keep coming across these articles with headlines and then you’ll have a video attached that does not correspond to the title of the article AT ALL!!! And then with the auto play on it continues to the second and third video and neither one of those correspond to the article described - WTF YAHOO?!!!!

When I open an article to READ, it's because I want to READ IT. It's fine if you have a video options at the top, but that stupid pop-up box in the corner blocks the content and you have no way to get rid of it. Just absurd.

Please stop with the auto-play ads! I know you’re getting paid more by the advertisers to be even more annoying but I just come here to read the news and you’re ruining it. I already skips videos to read the stories because we’re forced to watching 28 second ads before a 30 second video plays. It’s ridiculous. I’ll end up going somewhere else to avoid the annoying advertisements.
