January 6th!
January 6th was very upsetting to many including our representatives in Washington DC. They had several hours of duress. People dressed up in Shaman costumes, some wearing MAGA red-hats, others shouting and screaming, etc. Afterwards the Capital was barricaded and fenced off, military was brought in for guarding the building and our Representatives,etc. Since that time we've had 18 months of investigations and then many hearings poking and prodding leaving no stone unturned. None of our Representatives were harmed that I'm aware of, but many were upset and frightened thus the multi-million dollar investigations. However, just one major city "Chicago in 2021 saw 836 homicides, according to data maintained by the Cook County medical examiner’s office." No barriers, fences, barricades were erected. No, federal investigation or hearings just politics as usual at our nation's capital. So, a few hours of fear and anxiety of 500-600 elite individuals in Washington DC is worthy of multi, multi-million dollar investigations, hearings and many theatrical news reports but the thousands of people murdered in our cities every year or the constant anxiety, fear and upheaval in our nation's neighborhoods and families receive not a word. That does say a lot doesn't it? IMHO
