Come on Yahoo, listen to your customers. This new mail format is so horrible. There was nothing wrong with the Classic mail format, that was easy to use, easy to see, nothing bad about it. WHY ARE YOU FORCING THIS NEW GARBAGE ON US?

it's just not getting better
Hi It's me again. I just wanted to check in and give my updated feedback. This format is still awful. I gave it a chance and it blows...and not the good kind. The layout is just harsh on the eyes and no matter what background you use, it just doesn't get any better. I don't even want to check my email because I don't want to put my eyes through that type of abuse.

"New" email is a PAIN to EVERYONE.
the "new email" does not have the filtering function when doing an email search to only see certain files. the new email is a pain!!!!!!!!!

This isn't a "GIVE ME MY OLD MAIL" post but I want to point out New Yahoo Mail can't expand grouped emails via >. The old Yahoo Mail had a very convenient feature that I used all the time where I could see all the e-mails in a thread by clicking the > next to the checkbox. The new Yahoo Mail is missing this feature, I hope unintentionally.
I find the feature very useful because a lot of the e-mails I receive are procedural and really don't need to be read in full let alone opened. All I need to…

New Format Discriminates Against People with ADD
the non-optional switch to the new email from the classic format poses a problem for people with ADD and is therefore discriminatory. The right hand column flashes ads at a rapid rate and is very distracting for people with attention deficit disorders. If you must show ads, do not show them changing rapidly or at least allow the option to control the speed. If yahoo will not fix this then perhaps pressure from the ADA (American with Disabilities Act) would be necessary. Also there is NO option to change to the basic format in settings even though the FAQs say…

I guess I couldn't finish above I was composing e mail and wanted to take a break when I got back it wasn't in my draft thought it was gone forever started to complain before I completely finished I checked in drafts and it was there just took a long time never had that problem with Classic. Switch back new version sucks.

Your new version is a glorified version of your Basic Mail!! It sucks!!
- After reading my mail it is still marked as unread.
- I cannot "drag and drop" a pic which was sent in a previous email because NONE of the pics are available anymore.
- I cannot make out your stupid emojis because they are so small (like maybe they were switched to fit on stupid phones???)
- If one can go to the Basic Mail version, then why can't we go back to the Classic Mail version???

- can't delete a page worth of e-mails at a time
- can't delete all emails from a certain date
I'm sure I'll find more flaws if you keep making me use this.

too much scrolling to Move folders
The classic version remembered where I had scrolled to in the Move section. Now when I move an email, it starts me right at the top each time and I have to to scroll all the way to the correct folder each time.

Instant detest of this new forced upgrade... how unprofessional to see my own address as 'me' in the inbox... grrrrrrrrrrr.

does anyone know another option that is halfway close to the yahoo classic? if i wanted a gmail lookalike, i'd be using gmail as my primary email server... grrrrrrrrrrrrr - and i drove 20 minutes to reach a cyber and now am dealing with this? from the bosque of ecuador...
