Give us a way to get into an old account that I still know the password but am locked out because I hadn't used in a long time.
I have an old account averagebum1234@yahoo.com that I created many years ago to create an alternate Minecraft character and never used for any other reason and had no reason to log into it for years. I now need to log in to averagebum1234 because Microsoft wants to migrate it to a Microsoft account. I still know the password, but you guys at Yahoo won't let me log in because I haven't logged in for many years and no longer have the old phone number ending in 1770 to recover it even though I still know the password. I lost my Yahoo ID twice with no explanations.It simply disappeared from the net with no records to show that it ever existed.Could you please set up a two step verification like Google like an OTP to my mobile so that n no outsider is able to access or disable my email id.

I need an old account with different domain extension back.
I learned that new accounts are always given .com extension now.
Before (years ago) I had another (country) extension. This was deleted meanwhile.
But I would need it back (as mailbox or as forwarding) as I need to be able to login with services I used and mails from that services (f.i. password recover) is not always going to that "old" mailbox.

Both of the problem incidents that I reported arrived from the same source.
If anyone is looking at this list and at my complaints, I want to report that both of the mysteriously disappearing e-mails came from the same business source. It was my bank so I was greatly distressed when the letters just disappeared. As a result of former professional experience as a systems admin I suggest that the problem is perhaps at the source of automatic file generation where the file is not expressly closed. If the procedure assumes that the file will be automatically and properly terminated those automatically generated files may cause problems when parsed. Good luck!

Yahoo is continuing to try to charge me for Norton Security when I did not ask for, did not want and never ordered. BEST OF ALL....I HAVE McAFEE.....not Norton. I have explained nicely that this is an error, yet a charge continues to be submitted for Norton. Quite fortunately, there was no money in my account when they submitted the last charge so I did not lose out any money. It is less than six bucks but that is hardly the point. Such a silly issue
I've accidentaly marked couple of emails as "spam". And all of sudden I couldn't get any more mails from that address,even though I marked those emails as "not spam" afterwards. Anybody got a solution?

having difficulty opening my yahoo mail page some intermittent thing going on, updates possbly stuffed it up couldnt be firewall issue
please fix my yahoo page accessabilty and login also trouble deletig old mail issues arises out of the blue with opening yahoo mail yet no other web search or opening pages have issues, only with yahoo mail, i run trouble shooting and check firewall status and firewall is oporating as it should. if open the computer is then open to all sorts of problems as we all know. Any help would be welcome as this is one of the main operating services i require. Thank you yahoo

Update for settings for those still using "on-demand" password.
I was still using "on-demand" password and my phone number changed. I went into settings and there was no option to change my phone number for the on-demand password.
Apparently this was changed to account key, but there was no mention of that at all on the setting page. For those users still on the on-demand passwords, you may want to add some kind of note that links to the account key or something like "On-demand passwords were replaced by the new "account key" function, click here to sign up
